The Italian Job's one of those movies from the 1960s that doesn't feel like something from the 1960s... well, maybe in regards to its cars, gags, and general atmosphere, but from a filmmaking standpoint, it's still one of the best looking, one of the most intelligently paced, and one of the most bombastic action adventure films of its time.

I've held off on recommending Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex as I hadn't seen it in years, and are currently rewatching it with a friend. Doing so has confirmed my thoughts. While Season 1's very good, 2nd Gig, is the reason to watch.

Electronic Music generally seems to lean towards this pho-inspirational life improvement positivity angle. Like folk music for a new-age and I don't care for most of it.
