Animation's finally done :D
This is a short loop, but I ended up rendering it from two angles to give the illusion that it was a bit longer. Aside from that, there's no giant post about its creation this time, lol. But like I said, there's more to this and I'm currently working on putting all the parts together to make one longer animation.

So after a bit of a wait, this double tentacle animation is finally finished!
I had some trouble with the animation on this one, but outside of that it wasn't too difficult -- didn't have all the crazy amounts of problems rearing their heads like usual, lol.
However, for some reason during the entire first half of the animation the denoiser wasn't working. So I figured I would be able to take the already-rendered frames and just re-composite them through the denoiser node. But n...

Whew! Finally got this finished, lol. I would have had it out sooner, but as mentioned in the update post, there was a lot to this one I had to go back and re-render. Then last night, a few more issues stuck out and I had to re-render even more of it, lol. Overall, it's been quite the process.

Hello again! Thought I'd drop in and give everyone an update as to what I've been up to. I know you might be wondering where the diamond-tier exclusive angle is.
I had it ready and was going to post it last night, and then I noticed a couple errors that really stuck out, and were incredibly obvious due to the new camera angle. I was hoping that I could get away with just re-rendering small sections, but unfortunately these issues affected the entire latter half of the animation.

This is just a simple poll for people who've seen the new Mud Wrath animation preview. In that post, I talk about how for this preview I rendered it at half resolution in Cycles instead of the usual Eevee.

Hey all! I super apologise for the delay on this one. Normally I wouldn't post so close to the end of the month, but this animation gave me a heck of a lot of trouble, so much so that I had to rerender large chunks of the animation several times -- and once even having to rerender it from scratch. It sucks when I think everything's fine and then random errors sneak by me at the last second, rofl. But that's just part of the process, I suppose.

As promised, here's the early Eevee render of my upcoming animation! This is basically the finished product, but on the final Cycles render there's a few kinks I want to iron out -- basically just the animation needs a couple more passes on smoothing out the motion. But everything else is essentially complete.

I rendered out a few more images from the upcoming animation. I know the face angle is a bit silly, lol; I don't think I'll include that angle as part of the final animation.
