Anyway, here's a new short remix to hold you over until a longer one is fit for human consumption :D

Experimented with binaural audio with this one, so it's been mixed with headphones in mind, so use headphones to hear the effect c;
It's not ground breaking stuff, just added some subtle creepiness to some of the instruments ^^

Also, Lylat Wars' Select Theme lives rent free in my head, and it just so happens that it and Super Mario Wonder's "Overworld" theme share the same key and part of the same chord progression, so I had to add it as a reference even if it's not in the same universe as the remix ;o;

Anyway! Super Mario Wonder hype!!!
I'll be genuinely impressed if anyone manages to catch all the other Mario references I put into the...

Over the past few years I've slowly built up a little collection of analog and digital hardware synths and romplers, and this is a track where they got to shine c:

Among other things I've got the Moog Matriarch playing the fluttery arpeggiated synth lines (with its own delay tempo synced to the song) in the beginning, and a JV-1080 providing the synth pads with an authentic 1994 etherial sampled sound.

I know it's technically June... I was planning on finishing it in May, but I got stuck on the way, so here it is ;D

Have had the second part of the RSE Rival enounter song stuck in my head on and off for a few years, and I finally caved and decided to remix it ^^;
I decided to base it on the "May" version while still also transposing it to a key neither of the rival themes are in... So that's something, I guess... '^'
