Quick Update

Just a quick update while I'm providing security at work, I've coded in Boss 3 and Boss 4 which will lead up to Xala finally giving you her plan and finally making you decide whether to stand with her or against her [once coded].

Boss 5 once coded will only appear if you stand against Xala, otherwise, standing with Xala is considered an ending and an ending sequence will eventually be done for that. I already have a shock ending that I doubt anyone will predict ;-)

Graphics Update

As always I don't stand still, here is the new sweaty/oily look. I've also tried to put pores on the body and face as well as opposed to just having a solid pink colour in the shape of a human.

Short Update

Thought I'd write in as it's been 4 days, that's a record for me you know!

Anyway right now on the game I'm coding in the bosses and their fights and then their dialogue and then Xala's after boss defeat dialogues etc etc, I've got the 3rd boss in complete. Now I have to put the 4th one in and then I'll put the final ultimatum of whether you will side with Xala or not.

Night Shift Progress

All is quintessentially the quintessence of a quite quiet evening at work, got my tasks done for the evening and decided to make a little progress with the coding, got the following 2 things done ready for 0.9:

Xala Jobs - You can now take an assignment if you choose to align with Xala.

Brother Emails - I was asked about this and yes the next version will have some emails you can read on your brothers computer, if you can guess the password of course. Hint: 3 Letters. :-)

Re-Jigged Logo

There we go, now I don't have to keep re-sizing it for the videos and game sex scenes.

Also made the links bigger so people can read them...and added two more if you noticed. A bit of insurance policy should anything happen. At the moment the other two are just patron and not creator ones but we'll see what happens.

Could Have Come Sooner

No thats not a pun folks. You all remember the pledge price increases scheduled for the 18th?

Yeah I certainly do I've gone down from the 60's down to the lower end of the 50's in amount of patrons because of it. Also maybe because a certain holiday is coming up but then what is X-mas really about if not to be jolly and charitable?

Leaving Patrons

I guess with the new patreon changes it was inevitable, I've lost 3 maybe 4 patrons now. One of them has been with me since the beginning.

Don't worry I no longer take it personally or get upset, I know a lot of you can't afford the charity now you have to pay more with patreons policies.

Basic Storyline Completion Date?

So I've been thinking, I started this whole thing in March 2017 and usually game development should take no longer than 1-2 years. Especially if it's a renpy game. I'm not exactly in Blizzard or one of the big game companies.

New Characters!!!

Sorry for the earlier political rant but I channelled the energy into something productive, I created not 5 as promised but 7 new characters!!! (I can't fit the last guy on so I'm going to post him separate.)

In order:

Teen Girl - She just shows up with dialogue in certain areas to spice up the story and immersion in the world.

Jogger - A fitness dude who shows up in places like the gym and park and can be spoken to or interacted with.

Psychic Stick Insect - Yeah.....a weird ...

Downloads and Size Issue

Hi everyone,

It was brought to my attention whether I could also upload to another online storage site, for some reason you guys had problems with MEGA. Either because it needed you to subscribe i.e. pay it for a better download speed (Although mine seems fine but I suppose it depends on your ISP) or because of other issues.

Now as far back as 0.3 I realised very quickly that the majority of the size of the game file comes from the videos embedded within it. Because of this I ...

Today and Yesterday Progress

So I wanted to launch into the most difficult thing on my list first, namely the creation and implementation of the different outfits and transformations you can gain through the game. Creating was not so bad, simply inspiration. Then using GIMP to cut the images and edit them and put the files into the game folder.

All done on the graphics side of things and the image files are now in game, all that is left is to code them in!

New Appearances

Right well today I've got 8 different outfits for Valia to have in game, I'm thinking of coding it so you an change into them at will. At first most character wont recognise the outfit change but in time many will comment on it.

The outfits I have so far are:

Valia Normal - Black Jacket and Blue jeans that is currently in the game.

Valia Succubus - I'm making a new one with the HD images rather than the blurry one.

Valia Zero Suit - Valia in a Samus Aran zero suit ;-)
