Letters to Grandma

You'd be amazed by the stuff some of these geezers keep around. I blows my mind, but, then again, I regularly post comics about deranged/horny animal-people for the world to see so who knows what my descendants will think of me after I kick it.

This one really took me a while. And I'm not even talking about drawing it (though it was a big one). I wrote and rewrote this for about two months before I finally landed on this version. Though I'm happy with how it turned out, I'm glad I can move on to other stuff. I've been trying to think up ideas for shorter comics to get them out quicker but all the good ideas I have right now are on the longer side. Most of my good ideas, I find, are on the longer side. That makes things a little difficult when you're trying to stay relevant for a social media algorithm but hey, what can you do?

I've got a couple more one-off gag comics I want to do and then I think we'll be jumping into another storyline, so stay tuned!

Feral Mills, One Year Anniversary

One year down!

Exactly one year ago today, I posted the first official Feral Mills comic (https://feralmills.com/comic/girlfriend-phrases/ ). Back then, I had just lost my job in the VFX industry and started making comics as a way to keep myself busy.

One year later... my employment situation is still shaky, BUT I've got a body of work I'm genuinely proud of and I've met a ton of really cool people in and out of the comics community.

I especially want to thank all you members here on Patreon. You've helped keep the lights on around here during a difficult time, and for that, I am eternally grateful! I'm slightly behind on comic production right now, but I assure you, I have no intention of stopping any time soon. Feral Mills Year Two starts now!

When they're not suffering from existential horrors or being sucked dry by a system indifferent to its constituent's well being, the Feral Mills cast likes to soak up some rays at the beach, man.

Btw, I haven't forgotten about the latest fan art poll. I'm working on the Riza pinup but I had to expedite this one to meet the deadline. Riza will be here soon.

Remember the AI characters from this comic? Turns out their existence is just as woeful as their flesh counterparts.

I haven't gotten as many comics out as I'd like to because of some stuff going on in my personal life BUT I'm going to turn that around in August because it's going to be Feral Mills' one year anniversary! I haven't decided exactly what I'm going to do yet but August 15th will mark one whole year of this comic so I'll be commemorating it somehow.

Starting August, I'll also be adding some new perks to the Ungovernable Menace tier. Every month, members at that tier will be able to write two word suggestions for a comic prompt. I'll take all those suggestions and put them in a poll of all paid members to vote on. Winning prompt gets turned into a comic! I'll also be doing a little something I call "Ask Feral Mills." Members subscribed at the Ungovernable Menace tier will be able to submit questions to Feral Mills characters and I'll draw the responses. This is your opportunity to leave an indelible mark upon my magnum opus.

I had a slight delay in production but I'm back at it full time on the comic now. The Marla pinup is coming a bit later but it'll be finished by Friday, after which I'll be running another drawing poll. More comics coming next week, too!

Change of Plans... Time for a Sexy Feral Mills Pin Up Drawing Poll!

Heyo! My plans have gotten all messed up this week. The city I live in is currently in the grips of a brutal heat wave and, wouldn't you know it, my AC unit has completely died. My apartment is currently a furnace and as far as a timeline for when it's going to be fixed my landlord has told me, "a couple of days." This is all to say, I'm fine, but working on a comic might be difficult this week since I won't be spending much time at home. However, I have a mobile set up which allows me to work on drawings when I'm out of my apartment so I thought I'd run a drawing poll so I can still get some stuff out for you folks this week.

No fan art, this time it's all my original characters. The main cast of Feral Mills, along with the secondary characters and some significant day players. Whoever wins will be featured in a sexy pin up so choose wisely (or get weird, it's your vote)! This one closes on June 26th at 11:59 pm EDT.
