first drawing(s) of the month! I felt like drawing a background character from Blacksad, and after an unsuccessful attempt of drawing the Playboy Wolf, I remembered this handsome lad from the 4th volume (right at the beginning where Weekly and Faust visit the prison).

This hot weather has been kicking my ass, so this month's folder has the least files so far...maybe it's time to get into another media or re-read Blacksad? anything you'd like to recommend?

After 10 years we're finally getting a sequel to Dragon's Dogma (never give up on your dreams 🙏), so of course I'm replaying it and I thought about anthrofying one of the monsters, since I really like the designs in this game! Not to mention you sometimes get ambushed by them, so I thought giving it some spooky vibes would be neat. I'm honestly not sure if I did well, but I had fun giving them a more humanoid look.

It's been a few years since I've seen Sherlock Hound but I still adore the style and its soundtrack (especially Dance Of The River Thames, it's so soothing and smooth), so I'm glad I got to draw fanart for it! I thought about including Watson or Moriarty, but this time I wanted to focus more on a solo pinup. Maybe once I'm in the mood to rewatch it, I might do another piece?

the handsome leonin won the bonus poll! which is interesting, because I remember him and Leon Kronski being really close, then when I checked again, Ajani was in the lead haha. I think this is one of the few pieces I really like, though I wish I spent more time on the details and rendering >> but I had lots of fun!

An apology
Hi again. After having a conversation with one of my patrons, I just want to apologize for drawing self-indulgent art instead of focusing on monthly poll. I admit this year hasn't been the best for me, and as you know I'm still working on the Blacksad zine and other IRL things. I thought that people would be happy for any update here, but I admit it's selfish of me for not working on patreon stuff first.

some stuff i've done in the past couple of days! i saw the little Blacksad/Samurai Jack cameo in the Chip 'n Dale movie and wanted to see how it'd look like in the original-ish style. the second pic was a cursed 3AM thought of Coach wearing socks and sandals (aka how to spot slavs on vacation). 3rd pic is a patreon sketch WIP and the rest are some self-indulgent Dunn pieces that i did out of boredom, so i might not actually finish them. we'll see though!
