Back at the beginning of 2024, Rhett and I were able to shoot with Ciera for a few hours up in the mountains. We stopped at this old farmstead and explored the back buildings on the property for a little bit before we moved on to our next spot. Ciera is such a sweetheart and that really shines through in these photos!

Good morning everyone! Today I am heading to a specialist to try and get some answers about what’s going on in my body. Since I don’t have any portrait photography scheduled for today, I wanted to share with you all a few quick photos of nature I’ve grabbed with my iPhone the past few days. While I LOVE photographing portraits, nature photography is my first love and something I do almost every day, with my phone at least. 🤪

Two weeks ago, Amber and Haley came and stayed the weekend with Rhett and I. We took them both up to the Blue Ridge Parkway because Haley had never been, and then we set off to find a private river access to photograph at! Luckily we found this spot a few hours before the sun went down. We spent a good bit of time here before moving on to our next spot. Many many more photos to come!

I don't know if you noticed or not but the first set from this series of photographs Amber takes a little plunge in the water. Lol. She was trying swim over to a different area and went over a log.
