From behind a waterfall

@HumanoidRhett and I went adventuring behind a local waterfall on a weekday of course. ;) There were a couple of people around as we set off down the trail but not many people know of this hidden spot right through the bushes...

Cherry in color and black and white

We met up with Cherry on a trail @HumanoidRhett (Twitter and Instagram) and I LOVE to photograph at the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is a loop of beautiful old growth forest destined to be photographed nude in! One side of the tree was lit up with the sun, while the other was a bit more shaded - I chose to upload the black and whites of the shaded side of the tree because I feel it offers a deep perspective of the scene.

Normally when we get together to create, Jason and I don't have too much of a strict schedule. We find beauty in normalcy and try to capture that the best we can.

A quick stop at the park..

HumanoidRhett and I share many adventures. This one was a more local outing as we decided to utilize a spot we pass going down the road almost every day. We got up early one morning to beat the crowds and stopped to create these fun portraits with a lot of movement. I hope you enjoy the in between shots. :)

On this day, we decided to head to the lake and just start shooting whenever inspiration struck. Amber put on this pretty pink outfit and the shoreline was the perfect place for me to click the shutter start the session. <3 

Magnolia Portraits - Preview Patrons

On his property where he conducts a fair bit of his portraiture, Jason has a huge magnolia tree! Often I thought of shooting with one of the flowers, and one day when I arrived they were ready for the picking. Thank you for being a part of my Patron page!

Magnolia Portraits

Jason Machen of Machen Studios usually does his photography of me on his property in Bowman, GA. When you pull in the driveway, there is a huge magnolia tree. In the past 3 years or so of knowing Jason, I have thought frequently about shooting with one of the flowers. This day when I arrived, the flowers were ready and I knew we had to create some portraits. I hope you enjoy this mix of film and digital photography.

Summer vibes

Just imagine... you've packed a lunch. Expecting to be on your on for a time, you head down the river humming your favorite tune. The weather is hot, but the breeze feels nice as you watch the trees and brush near the surface of the river sway with the movement of the cool mountain water. The birds are chirping and you see several fish pop out of the water grabbing at flies. 

As you round the next bend, you see something moving around on the bank up ahead. Coming closer,...

Magic making with Faith - Part ONE

Last weekend I had the pleasure to photograph a friend and model Rhett and I have known now for a few years but haven't had the chance to shoot much with! It was amazing! She is really into the fantasy genre and has tons of clothing and accessories to go along with being an incredible model. This is a two part set which will also feature a behind the scenes video. ;)

Snow day reminders w/behind the scenes shots

@HumanoidRhett and I had a wonderful ~trip~ to and from this beautiful scene up on the Blue Ridge Parkway. ;) When the snow, fog, and ice come, the Parkway road gets shut down... so if you want to see any of the views, then you have to walk! We were some of the only people to brave this weather - of course we had to get some epic nudes in front of a snowy tunnel.

Leaving shame behind..

Being human has its limits, and of course we all know that. But being at home in your nude body should not have any room for shame. You were born here - you should give your body the love it deserves to keep on living. It has held you for many years, and it deserves to be free.

Rainy Ponderings

It started to rain but wasn't too cold. The light was soft outside and I knew we had to get some shots in the light rain if we were able. I am happy with how these turned out. :)
