Spinel was actually a character I did for another project entirely! (it was a modern setting as you can tell for his converse)
He was grumpy and edgy teen and very violent mage. When I started concepting for Mathilde's Guild I decided to use characters I had lying around and dust them off and give them a new purpose!
Spinel was one of such characters and now he is a sweet nice summoner
