Corpus Cavalier
I'm working on a comic series that follows Gunny Dangerfield (Gunsmoke) through diffrent parts of her American lineage to historical events such as the 7 years war, revolutionary war, Mexican American, Civil, Spanish, indian and world wars.
Here's a rough draft of the art style.

A commander of a Celestial Archer Battalion. Celestial Archers where elite royal guardsmen charged with protecting major Equestrian fortifications. They would fire arrows from a great height upon enemy forces, also firing signal flags to guild ground forces. They also served as royal messengers and scouts. Celestial Archers sided with Solar loyalists during the Equestrian Civil War and where the primary defenders of Fort Canterlot against a major military coup planned by Nightmare Moon.
