The furry version of 1AP Jasmine Sawyer is a Persian cat based off "Sawyer" from the movie Cats Don't Dance. This character is actually who inspired the initial design of 1AP Sawyer. "Jasmine" 1AP Sawyers first name is from her CDD Sawyers voice actors first name. The Navy designation coming from an early scene in the movie where she wears a sailor's costume. Lauren Faust worked as an animator in this movie and to date this movie is one of my favorites from my childhood.

When I started art I thought I sucked and was nowhere near as good as others, but I got support from the community. That's why I continued for the 10 years 1AP has gone on for. I've never personally gotten involved in the fandom itself, but this community is directly responsible for encouraging me to draw.
