Tifa x Cloud

A little bit of an update.  I decided to upgrade pretty much everything in my 7 year old PC that I've been using. There was a bit of a mishap and my main hard drive ended up locking up and wouldn't let me use it so I pretty much had to reinstall everything and start from scratch.  I was able to recover this project which I had been working on, but it still took me quite a while to get everything back up and running.  Anyway, blender is much easier to use now, and my render time...

Zelda Animation

I decided to do this one if 4k and even tried adding sound, feel free to let me know what you think. I've been thinking about outsourcing the sound step to other creators that specialize more in the audio field but I'm a bit undecided on that as of right now.  I might do a test run of that on my next animation.

Tifa Animation

This is my first go with one of Mustards models and it's pretty crazy how much he's put into it. It took me a good while just to learn some of the stuff and figure out how to properly use some of the features.  I plan on using Tifa and his other models more in the future since they are so well made.  Files have been added to their archives.

I decided to experiment with this one a bit and do what I believe is the first non looped animation that I've ever done.  Unfortunately the subverse models aren't super easy to use so I think I'm going to give them a break for a bit and move over to another franchise for my next animation.  Files have been added to their archives.

Subverse 4some

Working with a lot of characters like this is definitely quite the challenge. I had the feeling I wouldn't be able to do anything super amazing so I kind of went barebones on it so I could move onto a single girl animation but it did give me some more practice with eevee and using an actual map that was much needed. So it was definitely good practice. Files have been added to their archives.

Subverse WIP

So since all 3 characters tied I've been trying to work up a 4some scene with all of them in it.  I've never done something with this many characters but this is what I've got so far.  I'm going to start working on the animation to see if I can make it work but don't be surprised if it ends up changing in some way.  If you guys have a favorite 4some scene let me know, I'm open to trying different things with this if I need to.

Loba Butt

So I've been going through a couple of iterations of the animation that I want to do with Loba and I think I've found the one I want to stick with.  I decided to do a picture of the scene since it's taken me a bit longer to work through this one.

Judy Eevee animation Test

I used this animation as a test for a lot of different things I've been messing with in Eevee. I found that there are definitely pros and cons between eevee and cycles but eevee is definitely a good change up that makes the workflow really nice. I tried a lot to get a fluid sim to work with this animation but it kept crashing with eevee so I'll have to see if there's something I can do with that later to get it to work. Judy Picture

The animation I was working on kind of fell through so I think I'm going to drop it for now and move onto something else.  I wanted to test out the Judy model as I want to use her for an animation, and it went pretty well so I think I'll be using her next. This is also my first delve into the Eevee renderer which is turning out to be pretty amazing and really speeds up the workflow once I started getting the hang of it. I'm going to keep working with it and hopefully use it consistently ...

Which character would you like to see in the next animation? A lot of these characters I haven't messed with before so I don't know how well they are rigged or if they will properly work, so if one gets chosen there is the possibility that I won't be able to make something decent with them, though I will do my best to make something work.
