Updates and Upcoming Changes

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to announce that I've made a small change on the reward of the first tier, I've decided to change it from "ink" back into "pencil sketch" and just changed the name of the Ink comic to "Manga Render".

As for upcoming changes, I think around next month I'll be opening a new comic type tier, it's gonna be the CRT or VHS Style. The idea behind is that they will look like a screenshot take from a show with the dialogue being in the subtitles. You get a 1 frame...

Making a little follow up from the previous journal

I've decided to apply the new workflow method for this comic instead of the only doing it for the comics I'll do next year onwards, I'll do it for this comic as well because I'm not really in the mood anymore of rushing it to try finishing it before the end of the year. This month I'm making these 3 pages, next one I may do 3 more.

In the meantime... I'm not sure atm, but I'll cook something up!

I think I've had an idea

For some time I've been thinking of a way to work on my comics while also doing other things, because just focusing on trying to finish 1 thing isn't working very well, it gets tiresome. My current method now of making comics flows much better than before, but there is still room for improvement. One idea that I've had recently and I'll give it a shot next year, is like, I'll work on 2 or 3 comics simultaneously, they will take a little while to get going because I want to get all of them ske...

Just wanted to show an example on how I used to make, like I've said, I'd first make the animation, and then I would do the coloring and shading, would waste a good amount of time going back and forth coloring and fixing each frame, and some animations would have lots of it xwx"

Quick little animation to experiment with a different workflow!

Before I would get the animation going first, and then color it, shade it and stuff. This time I've decided to make it a still pixel art first, to get the style that I wanted down, and then I would animate from there. It ended up being faster by cutting a bunch of back and forth of the previous method~

Hey I hope everyone is doing fine, I'm still enjoying my break

I'm trying to find a way to get back on working on the comic, I'm not in the mood to go back and focus on making it, wanting to make something else. One way I thought would be going back at working on it during the weekends and during the week I do other stuff, like single drawings and animations.

For this year I only have plans to finish this comic and I'll make the cover of 2 little comics of Foxy Stuff I'll do next ...

Small heads up

Hey there, hope everyone is doing fine!

I'm making a little animation here that at first I was thinking about releasing to my pages straight up, but I decided I'll for now release it only here for some time. I may post it today later, if not, tomorrow it will be up~

Going on a break and things to come!

With all the commissions finally done, now I can relax!

I've said in my last update that I would take a week off or two, but I think I'll take a month off. I'll still be working on rewards during the weekend if there is any and doing art, which is not just a job but also something I like doing for fun.

When I'm back I'll resume work on the comic, which will be the last of my main content for this year. I wanted to make another Foxy Stuff comic, that's something I'm thinking of doi...

Small update + New PC!

Hey y'all!

I'm almost done with the commissions, only 3 left, after that we will return with the regular schedule. 

I'm trying to make them as fast as I can, but I think they will be done by the end of this month, I wanted to make the animations and stuff alongside them but I don't think it will be possible to finish 1 painting + 1 animation on the same week.

Things here will be mostly quiet for sometime until the commissions are done, after that I'll resume with the pi...

I'll try a different method in the next one, a better way to put the animation together and I think to make it smoother I need draw my own sprites mimicking the style, was trying to rely on mostly just editing available sprites (like this one) and isn't cutting so well as I wanted. But I hope you guys like this one :3

Small change of plans

After 2 commissions I'm doing now and hopefully I finish this week, I'm gonna take a little break through the rest of the month. I'm gonna be doing some other stuff for  fun, to get my "magic" back, some of it I'm gonna post it here.

I wanted to make a poll this week here of the character sprites to animate, but I don't think I'll, the poll I mean, instead I'll just do it on my own volition. I'll start by making animations of the characters that lost the last poll, Yoshi from Yoshi...

Hey there, I hope everyone is doing fine, thank you everyone who participated in the poll I've made. The option for me to do the pixel animations first won and I'm glad it did, they're quite fun to make! So, like last time, I'll be looking for some character sprites for me to animate and make polls next week.

I'll start making them once I'm done with the commissions, finishing 2 per week, in 3 weeks I can get all of them done. In the meantime, I'll post some other drawings here to fill ...

Small life update

Hey there, I hope everyone is doing fine, I had one nasty cold this weekend, but now I'm doing better after taking some meds =w=

Now with the comics sketched, I'll put them aside for a little while to take some commissions, hopefully by the end of this month I'll have enough money so I can build a desktop PC more powerful than the laptop I've been using for quite some time now. Once the commissions are done I'll resume work on the comic shortly after.

Youkais & Ronins Pt. 12 and 13 WIP

Part of me wanted to add more pages and do some goofy stuff, but I'm wanting to move on already and do some other stuff, like learning blender and doing more pixel art and 2D animation. This comic has been on the backburner for a while and I just want to done with it to make room to focus on other things.

That doesn't mean I'll stop doing comics all together after it, I have ideas for some future comics, but I ain't gonna do it like I did with this one of announce it alongside other 3 c...
