Added some more detailing and started reworking the hair. Next thing to do will be fixing the headpiece and doing another pass on her face.

Sword Maiden WIP 005, Charge Post Notification
Little by little, but we're getting it done.
The overall composition is coming along after much cloth wrangling. The hands, feet are all posed and ready to dynamesh into a solid mesh to finalize the detailing. The sceptor/sword is going to be tricky to deal with the string/chain in printing so I will likely leave some different options open incase anyone wants to use their own strings.
I don't think I will finish this by the end of the month, so I'll continue to work on it into...

Update on those darn draperies. Designing these wrinkles can be pretty mind bending, but here is my progress so far. This character is definitely has the busiest composition so far and getting a comprehensive silhouette will be challenging. Of course I'm up for the challenge :).

Thanks everyone for participating in the previous poll. I did not expect pose E to be chosen at all considering it was a quicker mock up than the other poses. I changed course and here it is so far! Still working out the composition so I will be playing around with the drapery next.

Sword Maiden WIP 001
Been working on a side project, but now I am back and started on Sword Maiden. Got her portrait and proportions mostly worked out, but I might need to go bigger if you know what I mean. I might not even design her costume in T-pose and go straight for the pose considering there is a lot of drapery.

Azula Final Images, Checklist
All rendered images and videos are pretty much done!
I did not think I would create so many different extra parts, but hey I don't think there are any complaints here.
A couple of helpers are still running their test prints and I am awaiting on any last minute changes that need to be done. I've went over the files myself and they all seem good to go, but extra set of eyes can help me spot mistakes.

Alternate outfit reveal! The concept is based on the volleyball episode along with some modifications.
Someone expressed interest on a fully nude version. I tend to not include fully nude versions on my projects because they feel plain and less creative to me. Fully suited up! Just some more refining overall on this update. Thinking about the beach episode for her alternate outfit, but I don't think this pose really fits. More experimenting to do.

Azula WIP 003
After much pose wrangling I finally figured out something that works for me. The original pose from the dummy figure shown in a previous WIP did not look good once I played the character into that pose. The armor tends to obstruct everything and the whole piece becomes messy. Azula is a badass and I choose that over a sexy pose, but things might change on the alternate version. The ring is a placeholder for lighting or fire, still experimenting.

Body proportions and main costume block out so far. I added some new elements such as the forearm wraps that extend to her elbow to give her some more details. I've also gave the shoulders a bit more curvature to make the silhouette a bit more interesting.

Attempting to make Azula the angriest looking character I've done yet, going to see how far I can push the expression. Main outfit design will likely follow her standard armored suit. I'm still thinking about the alternate outfit, but I want to have her hair long and untied on this one.

New Tier Changes!

Starfire WIP 006
Sorry for the delays I am much busier on holiday hours and have less time, but the final composition finally done! Initially I wanted to have her dash horizontally, but that orientation kind of hid away the important features. I tilted her up and adjusted her hair and of course came up with this. One last thing I want to experiment with are the glowy magic auras for her hands then I'll move onto keying and test printing finally.

Here's the concept of the alternate costume so far. It's kind of getting there, but if you have any ideas feel free to throw them out. Someone suggested ripped clothing, but I feel like it doesn't match Starfire as much as it did with Raven.
