I swear when this was originally written, the reference to the Indiana Jones films was because there was a scene at the start of the first one which involved just grabbing something that was just sitting there. We got some more Exiern pages so instead of my keeping talking for a few more days, I thought we could pick things up after July 1st 2023 and just publish a new Exiern page a day for patrons from the 20th to the 30th instead for a total of 11 to put patrons even further into the future with the story!
The key point has already been raised which is asking if anyone has any additional revenue raising ideas (direct or indirect) and the other key thing I would like to discuss again in July ...

Firstly, just a quick reminder that from the 23rd of June 2023, there'll be an update of a new Exiern page every day until the 30th of June for a total of eight.
So, Exiern's going to turn 18 this year (exactly when has been lost to history, unfortunately) and I believe it's supporting at least two different families in two different countries for a total of at least 9 people if I've added that up correctly.

Still stuck at work today, so the discussion in detail is going to be bumped to tomorrow but basically it's about how many people this webcomic directly and indirectly supports but also how revenue isn't enough for that.
In fancy economic terms, Exiern has been running at just a bit of a deficit for a while now. Would like to have a bit of a discussion about ideas around what to do with that as recycling can only get you so far!
