Working from bed.

I do that a lot. I get to roll around in comfy beds all over the country making pretty pictures. I also spend hours every week working on emails, editing photos, booking trips/shoots, maintaining social media etc., also from bed. And although those things are hard work, I could be doing them from 9am-5pm from behind a desk. Things could be worse.

Off the grid

Tomorrow morning I will be leaving for my volunteer trip to Haiti! I am so excited to go and help these amazing people! I can't wait to tell you all about it! I will be completely out of touch for the next 10 days. I do have a few posts queued up for you to enjoy while I am gone. Talk to you soon!

THIS WEEK HAS BEEN NUTS!

A week ago I flew into San Jose California and immediately hopped in a rental car and drove almost 4 hours south to the legendary Madonna Inn! Another blog

In September I did my first blog post and told myself I would continue to do them on a consistent basis but I have failed so far. I guess it's because I am not confident in my writing skills, I don't have an elegant way with words.

This weekend

was a rough one. 

One of my dear friends lost her precious baby boy, he was hit by a reckless driver Friday evening and passed away in the hospital. He was 3 years old. My heart has been heavy all weekend as I prepare to leave for a 10 day Texas tour. I so badly want to do something to console her and make her feel a bit better but I know nothing anyone can say or do will take her pain away.
