Sup everybody!
I'm happy to say that we've entered the final phase of the next version. The rework is complete, and Erin's new content is fully drawn. All that's left is the final implementation of Erin's content and the usual testing.
Because the rework took so much time, the new content can be seen fairly quickly. To make up for how short it is, we've made sure it's top quality—Erin deserves nothing less! The new version will feature three new CGs of Erin: two fully animated scenes (and I must say, one of them is the best I've ever done), plus one more without animation.
Oh! And if you want to check out the rework, you can try it in the dev build. Remember, the dev build gets updated every two weeks without fail (well... almost always...), whether I mention it in these posts or not.

Hello everyone!
It’s been over a month since we published the 0.9.0 survey. More than 70 people have sent in their opinions since then, so it's about time we take a look. You ready?

Well! Not many surprises here. The NSFW section is everyone’s favorite (myself included). It’s undoubtedly the part where we put the most effort, so I’m glad you appreciate it. In second place, there’s a technical tie between those who prefer the story and those who prefer the gameplay. (Does that mean we’ve achieved a good balance of quality between both aspects?)

Without a doubt, Erin is the big favourite. Completely expected: Erin is Angel Under’s main wife. However, the rest of the results are surprising. Second place goes to Bolonia! I thought that after so much Bolonia content, you’d be tired of her, but that’s not the case at all. And third place goes to Anika, who hasn’t even had the chance to debut yet. I guess we’ll have to focus on these characters in the next updates!

For this question, there’s another technical tie. Almost 40% of you think it’s time to move forward with the main story, and the other 40% believe we need to expand the NSFW content for each character. Interesting! Given the balance, the best option is probably to alternate between the two in each update.

Aha! Your opinion completely aligns with ours here. After all, Angel Under is designed to be a corruption game. However, we love Erin, so it can’t be the typical corruption game, if you know what I mean. It has to be something gradual, optional, and consensual.

We were wondering if you preferred smaller but more frequent updates, and it seems there is an overwhelming consensus. Fantastic! From the next update onward, we’ll focus less on the amount of content and more on the speed of release. Truth be told, we also like to publish more often.
Only the most fun part of the survey remains, but unfortunately, the responses are too long to include here. Yes, I’m talking about the personal opinions, and they came in all kinds of flavors: from several-paragraph essays analyzing everything from the story to the gameplay, to others with just a few words (in one, someone simply wrote “Erin titties”). In all of them, however, there was great kindness and love for Angel Under. It’s been incredibly fun and instructive to read them all. I’ve told you before, but your words are top-tier fuel for our motivation. Thank you all from the bottom of our heart!

Oops! It’s been a long time since I last posted an update. Don’t worry, it’s not that we’re abandoning Angel Under—quite the opposite! We’ve been so busy with development that I keep forgetting to post updates on Patreon. I totally deserve a good bonk!
As I mentioned before, the main goal of version 0.10.0 is to rework the entire introductory section. It’s been a colossal task, but it’s practically finished now. Here are some of the biggest changes we’ve made:
The entire introduction (meaning everything before the Free Roam phase) has been divided into six different missions. This means players will reach Free Roam much faster, drastically improving the game’s pacing and making it feel much more open.
You can now improve your friendship with characters and access their exclusive scenes almost from the very beginning. Characters unlock gradually as the player progresses through the Main Quest: first Joybel, then Bolonia, then Suzume, etc. This makes each Main Quest mission feel like a meaningful reward!
The story has been rewritten to make all of this flow naturally. We’ve removed a lot of filler and improved character introductions (for example, Joybel is now introduced right at the beginning). While the main events remain the same, the experience will feel much lighter for those who aren’t big fans of lengthy reading.
We’ve fixed all the small inconsistencies in both narrative and tone that had built up over time.
All of Bolonia’s NSFW scenes are now optional and will work with friendship progression, just like Suzume’s. This also gave us the opportunity to add more dialogues with Bolonia, making her relationship with Milo feel much more gradual and rewarding.
My feelings about this rework are simply incredible. The game now feels much less like a guided visual novel and much more like a world full of choices that gradually opens up. It’s amazing how much the experience changes just by restructuring the content!
Now that this rework is practically done, all that’s left is to work on the most exciting part of the update: Erin’s content. I know you’re all dying to see it. I’ll keep you posted!

Hi everyone!
I hope you’ve all been enjoying the latest update! As usual, I wanted to take a moment to share our plans for the next version. I’ll also touch on the survey results, though only briefly – I’ll save a deeper analysis for a dedicated post later. By the way, reading all your insights has been both incredibly fun and super helpful, so thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts!
While the survey responses were quite varied, two things stood out loud and clear: you want more content featuring Erin, and you want corruption-themed content – as long as Erin is treated with care. The good news? That aligns perfectly with our vision for the game.
Originally, we had planned to wait until the corruption gameplay was fully fleshed out before adding more Erin content, but we’ve decided you’ve been patient enough: Erin will be the star of the next update!
Our other major focus for version 0.10.0 is something we’ve wanted to improve for a long time – the atrocious early-game pacing. Right now, the introduction is a linear sequence that takes about an hour to get through before you reach Free Roam. While that structure served its purpose early on, it’s time to fix it. We’re breaking that section into smaller, more digestible chunks, allowing players to reach Free Roam much sooner. This way, you’ll have far more freedom to decide when to continue the main story or explore character-specific content.
That’s all for now! Honestly, I couldn’t be more excited: Angel Under is so close to realizing the original vision I had for the project all those years ago.

The next update is approaching! The 4 new NSFW scenes are finished, and now it's just a matter of implementing them into the game. I won’t say much about them because I’d rather keep the surprise, but I’m sure some of you have already guessed it: there will be foot fetish content.
Aside from that, the first sex scene in Angel Under featuring Milo will make its debut. It’s about time, after years of development!
That’s all for now! As for the release date: we’re aiming to launch the next version before the end of the year, though with the holidays, it’s very likely it’ll end up dropping in January.

That's right! The next update will focus on Suzume, who will be our test subject for the friendship system. Suzume will need Milo’s help to become an influencer within the castle, so she’ll ask him to assist with some photoshoots that, as you might guess, will get a bit spicier as they grow more comfortable with each other.
In the last update, we introduced a progression of NSFW scenes with Joybel, but this one goes even further: with the friendship system, we can give Milo and Suzume more personal dialogues beyond the NSFW scenes. Building a bond with a character makes everything feel much more rewarding, in my opinion.
However, there’s another character getting an NSFW scene in this update besides Suzume… and it’s likely to be the most intense one so far. But we’ll talk more about that in another post!

Hello everyone!
We’re kicking off a new version! As always, we spent the first week designing all the new systems. This time, it’s all about friendship.
The basic way to earn friendship will be through an item called the chip badge. Chip badges are items that add special handicaps to the Training Pit (like more enemies, attacking lasers, time limits, etc.). Each girl has her own chip badge that she’ll offer you when you talk to her, and using it will make her happy, increasing your relationship points. As you level up, you’ll unlock new scenes with that character.
In this version, only one girl will give you her chip badge, and you’ll be able to unlock a few scenes with her. Wondering who it is? You’ll find out in the next update! (No, it’s not Anika).

Hello everyone!
I hope you've enjoyed the latest version of Angel Under! Now that we have a bit of a breather, it’s a good time to talk about our plans for the upcoming versions.
Our main mid-term goal is to finish the core of the game, in other words, the main game loop. This refers to all the basic systems Angel Under needs to make the gameplay flow enjoyable. So far, Angel Under has been little more than a visual novel on steroids, occasionally interrupted by some fights; but that’s not the direction we want to go in. We want a game where the player earns points and prestige through combat, and by doing so, can form deeper friendships with various characters (unlocking NSFW scenes along the way, of course).
As you might have guessed, we've been building these components separately over the years of developing Angel Under: first, all the movement, dialogue, and scene systems. Then came the combat, quests, inventory, etc. In this latest update, we added the money and ranking systems, as well as free roam combat. Almost all the crucial components are ready; only two remain:
The first and most important is the friendship system. This means a system where you can build trust with different characters, which helps you progress through their stories and unlock scenes. Our mission for the next version (0.9.0) is to implement this component. Oh, and we’ll also try to include as many new NSFW scenes as in version 0.8.0!
The second one is the skill tree: a menu to purchase abilities that affect both the world and combat sections. We plan to introduce this tree in version 0.10.0, along with the first Pit boss.
Once all these components are in place, we’ll be ready to kick off the final phase of the plan. But I’ll talk more about that another time!

Heyo everyone!
We've reached the halfway point for version 0.8.0! According to our schedule, there are about 8 weeks of development left before the release. However, everything is going so smoothly that we might finish ahead of time: we've already completed 2 out of the 3 new NSFW scenes, and the first iteration of the combat runs is almost ready.
In fact, we plan to spend most of the remaining time exploring new combat mechanics. We still need to decide which direction we want to take: should it be a more roguelite experience, with different weapons or abilities adding variety? Or should we follow a more linear approach, where the player progresses through levels one after another to climb the ranks? These are the questions we'll be trying to answer in the coming weeks.

Sup everybody!
The upcoming update will feature more NSFW scenes than ever before—we're planning to include three. And yes, as you might have guessed, we're already starting production on them. What you see here is one of the massages Joybel will offer the player in exchange for Ranking Points... and it's one of the cheaper options.
However, this scene isn't implemented in the dev build yet. This week's dev build updates focus on gunplay: we've created a bunch of new rooms (around 15) to add variety to each run, along with a results screen. It's still in the early stages, but it's starting to take shape!

In the last report, I told you about the leaderboard and how players need to earn ranking points to climb it... But that's not all. In the world of Angel Under, you can exchange ranking points for goods and services. For the characters in the castle, Angel Points (as the ranking points are called) act as a form of currency.
The first character you can pay with Angel Points is Nurse Joybel, who awaits you in the infirmary. However, Joybel has no knowledge of medicine. The services she offers are a series of special massages. ;D (We plan to include no less than three "massages" in this update!)
This week's dev build is packed: on one hand, you can visit the infirmary, which has already been implemented. On the other hand, you can start destroying holograms in the Training Center, but be aware: since this part is still in development, bugs are likely to occur!

Hello everyone!
As you already know, the next version will be focused on combat. One thing we've wanted to include for a long time is the ability to perform melee combos. It hasn't been easy, but the time has finally come to say goodbye to clunky combat!
We've also been working on the Leaderboard: from now on, all Angel Under characters will have a ranking. To climb up the rankings, you'll need to fight as effectively as possible... And what's the point of ranking higher? I'll explain that in more detail in the next report. ;)
(Oh, I almost forgot! To check the Leaderboard, just head to the Training Center and interact with the GBA you'll see right as you enter.)

Hello everyone!
I hope you enjoyed version 0.7.0 of Angel Under! Releasing a new version after months of development is always a great feeling and a boost of energy to keep working on our project.
Today, we will talk about future plans. Although we've been adding content and features at a good pace this year, our game still has a fundamental problem: right now, it's little more than a glorified visual novel. Now, visual novels are great, but Angel Under is not intended to be a linear game of just walking and reading.
This game should be a much more open experience where the player can face demons, earn fame and money, get tons of sexy rewards, and build relationships with different characters at their own pace. And obviously, the story!
The main goal of the upcoming versions will be to address this issue head-on and steer Angel Under back to its intended path. For now, our first objective will be to implement gunplay and allow players to earn juicy (JUICY) rewards in exchange for the money they make defeating monsters.

Hello everyone once again!
The next update is approaching dangerously! If our calculations are correct, we should be able to launch it sometime in late June. We had to cut some content from our initial plans, but as I mentioned before, our current priority is to achieve a stable and fast release cadence. This version will continue the story of Bolonia, which of course, keeps getting sexier and sexier!
You can take a look at our work in progress through the latest dev build, but my recommendation? With so little time left, don’t spoil the surprise. ;)

Yep. We've decided to turn Angel Under in an interrogation-based investigation game. No more pew pew or horny stuff. Mystery puzzles are the way to go.
I'm kidding, of course! Although, we indeed will be implementing a small interrogation minigame in the next update. You'll have to gather testimonies and point out contradictions, Ace Attorney style! Do it right, and Bolonia will be impressed... ;)
For this version, we plan to include the next Bolonia mission and Suzume's first mission, as well as some vital features like the Inventory. In the background, we continue working on the gunplay aspect, which will be essential in the gameplay loop later on. However, our top priority is to release this version promptly: if our calculations are correct, that will be in early July. Of course, we will keep sharing updates until then!

That's right. I've received multiple claiming that you guys are horny people. Thus I've found appropiate to implement a horny jail in Angel Under.
Of course, I'm talking about Bolonia's sheriff station! The next version will keep progressing on her story (and maybe someone's else!). We are still preparing the new assets and scenes for the new version, so there's little new to show, but Bolonia's station is already implemented. If you want to pay her office a visit, you can do it in today's develoment build!

Major Features
- More story! (Around 7795 words added)
- Gallery mode implemented!
- The non-linear part of the game starts now!

- Bolonia's main pose has been reworked.
- Help fairies have been implemented.
- Comics and scenes are now affected by postprocessing.

- Film grain is now activated by default.
- Milo's color of boots during jump has been fixed.
- A bug that caused some sounds to trigger twice has been fixed.

- Updated to Unity 2023.2.12f1
- Added internal tool to manage credits easier.
- Added internal tool to manage dialogue databases.
- Added internal tool to generate popups and unify the existing ones.

Hello everyone, my dear patrons!
As you might have guessed from the title, the next version is just about to come out. The release date we've set is Friday the 22nd, so stay tuned!
We'll be dedicating these days to polishing the rough edges and thoroughly testing the entire game. We've also taken the opportunity to make some visual upgrades, like Anika's bar, which is completely renovated, and Bolonia's dialogue character.
I'd love to tell you more, but I really prefer for you to see everything yourselves in just over a week. :)

Greetings, my beautiful patrons!
The gallery was one of those big pink elephants we had been ignoring since the beginning of the game. But not anymore: we have started its development, and it is highly likely that it will already be implemented in the next version. To access this mode, you will only need to go to your cell (while not on a mission) and check your diary. Yes, it will no longer be necessary to replay everything to see the NSFW scenes again! :'D
On another note: the next version is progressing great! The first mission of Bolonia is implemented 100%, including all NSFW sections. If you want to take a look behind the scenes, you can play it in this week's development build!
We just need to make some final corrections and refine some of the systems we have. Everything points to us being able to release it in March as planned. :)

Sup everyone!
This is Bolonia's room in the terrace tower. She's not the tidiest person, and she's totally chill about it. You'll soon be able to see it firsthand: Bolonia's inviting you to swing by in the next update, for reasons you can probably guess. ;D
The next update is coming along smoothly. The sexy scenes have been already drawn, animated, and (clunkily) implemented. You can get a sneak peek in today's (clunky) Development build. At this pace, we'll be wrapping up in just a few weeks.
