It's something I started to notice 'cuz of how frequently I get submissions for Dragalia Lost for polls, gacha-planned (and it feels like 90% of DL's dragons) designs are all kinda overdesigned lol, but I get it, not going crazy makes them not as attractive to sell via microtransactions, but then you immediately also know they're not planned for repeated drawings so it's (mostly) one-and-done and then let 3D animation handle the rest of the grunt work lat...
