LOL as I post this i see that she’s twisting in a very impossible way. Oh well! Blew off some steam with this drawing. You know, most times I think I draw to improve and because I’m good at it. But times like this I notice that I draw to let my emotions out. Kinda meditative.

wowie yeehaw, here's every step of the process of my latest illustration! hope you enjoy this, let me know in the comments if you do- cuz it takes a long time to put these together! this is my second attempt lighting a scene with this technique, i used to do whatever looked nice but now i think i have a real strategy. hope i can make more cool paintings and get REALLY good. i feel like i'm a one trick pony with just character designs, i wanna be able to do everything really well.

Process for my painting!

Sometimes it’s demotivating when my work with the least engagement is my traditional paintings. It’s out of my comfort zone and I’m experimenting, so I love it! And I’ll keep doing them, cause I love a challenge, but it’s still something that makes me a bit sad. Do y’all feel this way sometimes?
