Skipping class // WIP
You asked for it! Here's a walkthrough on how I utilize my favourite Procreate brushes using the iPad- from the initial sketch to final shadowing. A lot of my brushes are default ones that come with the app, but there are a few solid packs from Max Ulichney that can really be a benefit to have! This isn't a paid ad for MaxPacks I swear!
My main tips for texturing and figuring out which brushes work for you best is to experiment. It took me a while to figure out what brushes work for me...

Second image was my first pass of the sketch. Realized that I didn’t like where the drawing was headed, too many round shapes! I made it more angular in the end to give it a sharper characteristic.

REFERENCE IMAGE/ INSPO: I loved the shape of this image and wanted to make a really graphic hair shape!

Trying out new techniques and brushes! Never really done hard white lighting on a character.

Originally this piece was bigger in canvas, but a couple weeks passed since I started drawing it and I got bored and I didn’t want to finish it so I cropped it to give me the motivation I needed to finished it. Does that make sense
