This one has been a challenge in many ways - foursomes are harder to draw, but I also wanted to try a slightly different painting approach. Instead of setting up colors and merging layers, this time I've tried to keep the lineart... only to end up painting on a layer above regardless, but I still haven't completely repainted the lines haha

I'm not used to come up with a color palette from 0, since I usually import in-game screenshots and pick colors from them, but this time I had a clear atmosphere in mind and I wanted to try and create it. Too long I had procrastinated on Dragon Zhongli x Naga Baizhu (yeah Zhongli is a snake kind of dragon himself buuut it's the base concept that changes! Haha) 🐉❤🐍

I've struggled a bit with colors and lights settings, you can see the 3/4 attempts I had done before reaching a solution I was satisfied of⁓ I wanted Baizhu's eye to be the focus of the illustration, so I needed the lights to not only be dramatic but also, mainly, to enhance its color and direct the eyes of the viewer to it.
