There are all sorts of naming conventions in the multiverse. Since Tzintkra is a planet mostly inhabited by outsiders, it varies a lot. I've tried to have enough variation in names to reflect this. Desinka's name would translate as "Desinka, child-Heir of Rakyn". Not that there's much to be the heir of, but that's still what it means.

As I mentioned a couple weeks ago, I will be expanding the Chimera tier in November with two extra chapters each weekend (on the 6th, 7th, 13th, 14th, 20th, 21st, 27th, and 28th). This means that by the end of November, Chimera will be 17 chapters ahead of RR and Pathed will still be 7 chapters ahead of RR.

The Guilds are essentially labor unions. They've developed a bit differently than modern Earth labor unions, but it's the same general idea. Some are far better than others, and many have significant requirements to join. Some prevent others from doing their work without being joined, while others tend to be more about helping their members than stopping competition.
