My understanding as to why Cavill left - A. He didn't like the direction the writers took the show on.
And B. He felt that now that he's back as Superman he doesn't need the show anymore.
Black Panther 2 only has a mid credit scene and it's Shuri meeting T’Chala’s son.
Henry Cavill hasn't signed a new deal yet BUT I hear he is in FINAL talks for a new deal that will include a new Superman movie and two other projects.
