A few things about the new reboot film:
New continuity, so a full restart. Will have a big budget, around $100m+
Paramount is the top choice in talks to get the rights for this new reboot/series.
SPIDER-MAN 4 UPDATE
It seems like Spider-Man 4 is still a long way from starting production. According to reliable sources, the script is facing some problems and there isn’t a finalized shooting draft yet. With sky-high expectations following the success of No Way Home, Feige and Sony felt the pressure to step up their game and deliver something even better. I hear the writing team is hard at work reworking the plot to address these issues and improve the story.
Right now the plan is to shoot in August...
Christopher Nolan
A few days ago, I started hearing that they were casting multiple new roles for Nolan’s next film, specifically for Greek characters. I didn’t know it was The Odyssey, but that was a big clue. I assume that’s why Universal went ahead and revealed it—they knew it was going to leak.
I’m hearing that other big names are involved in the film, and casting announcements should come soon. I also hear this won’t be a grounded take on the story, like Troy. Nolan will remain faithful...

If you remember, I was the first to report that Wesley Snipes would reprise his role as Blade in Deadpool & Wolverine. Now, I can confirm that Nic Cage will reprise his role as Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider in an upcoming project. I don’t know which one just yet, but there aren’t many options left.
