Took some time last night to create a few new damage morphs to the ones I've already made for eye swelling. Now I've got one for a swollen/broken nose and a fat lip! The pic on the left has all the morphs applied for comparison.

Here's some extra test images showing Melly's eventual opponent in the ring, as well as some action shots to test out lighting and render times. I already had a bloodied up version of Melly's skin, so I swapped it out in these tests. I haven't made a bloody version of the new fighter yet, that's the only reason she's unmarked. The pictures I posted yesterday were for more of a training location, but this is where I'm thinking the actual fight would be. It's supposed to be in Thailand, and this setting is probably the closest I can get to faking it (as long as you don't pay attention to what language the signs on the buildings are actually written in...)

Since boxing on New Year's Day has become kind of a big event in Japan, I thought it would be fun to do a short story about Katsumi heading home to defend her national title against a local rival.
It's not going to run too long, maybe 10-15 pages of action and a couple of pages of setup, so I'll probably just release it all at once on New Year's Day instead of a page at a time like my longer works.
