IRON SUMO: Episode 1, part 1

Since opinion is so evenly divided on sumo wrestling, I'm going to do one match as kind of a "proof of concept" and see where things go from there. This one will probably run about 25-30 pages, but the pages will have 2-3 renders per page instead of the 5-6 my boxing stories have started to have. Weekly Sumo?

Right now I'm thinking of adding a Sumo story that updates once a week as a feature to the $5 donation tier, so I wanted to see if people were interested. A few people seem really excited by it, but I really want to get a better idea of how everyone in this little community feels about it, so PLEASE VOTE.

One more sumo test, and the rules.

Wanted to see if I could create an effect that would look like a cloud of dust that flies up when they hit the ground, and explain the concept a little more. If you liked some of the more "creative" clinches and throws I've shown in some fights, there'd be a lot of that, a lot of body punching, and getting slammed to the ground face-first will cause some bleeding, too! If you like seeing fighters getting worked on between rounds, it'd have that, as well.

Weekly Update: Sonya vs. Gator, page 21

Well, the new computer's working...

Got everything loaded on to the new pc and fixed all the error messages when it was trying to find files, so I thought I'd run a test to see what it's capable of. Apparently, it's at least capable of a 10 woman battle royal without much issue. Now to get the other computer working...

Well, today has sucked.

So, about an hour after I get the call saying my new computer is ready for pickup, my current computer decides to give me the blue screen of death. It doesn't seem to be hardware-related, and I should be able to save all the files on it, but I'll have to re-install the operating system to get it working, as well as install all my programs and files on the new one. I probably won't be able to render anything until Friday, so there won't be a Thursday update and I probably won't have anything new ...

Some News...

First, the next private match will be a couple of days late. I've got three pages done, with a couple more to go. 

The main reason for the delay is... well... I've been shopping.

Thanks to your support, I've been able to buy a second computer! I'll be getting it home in a couple of days, and once it's ready, you'll be seeing even more updates and images from me 'cause I'll have two PC's rendering at once! And this new one will be capable of doing animation quickly later in the year,...

Working out one more location for The Rivals, envisioning this as really the bottom of the barrel: A cleared out alleyway where somebody threw up some ropes, wheeled in a couple of lights and started selling tickets and taking bets.

Picked up a new set of water droplets to try out. Probably save this for later on in fights in the future.

Wendy Walters is going to be one of the main characters in The Rivals, and the story will be told from her point of view. She's ending her fighting career with these warehouse matches just as Annika and Paulina are beginning theirs, and ends up becoming the coach for both women. Experimenting with a warehouse setting for the early fights in the The Rivals between commissions, and also adding in low-rez background figures. I wanted a setting with a colder feel, and I think this works....

Coming This Summer: THE RIVALS

Once I have the fight between Razor and Mariana finished, which should hopefully be around the end of May, This'll be the next big project. I'll have more details about the plot later, but there'll be about five fights of various lengths in different locations and the final fight will have the women cutting off their gloves and fighting with taped fists!
