Hi!

I've been fighting off a nasty cold over the past week which has turned into acute bronchitis, making day to day events a bit difficult. It looks like the cough will be sticking with me for a few more weeks, but that alone shouldn't impact my ability to work from today forward. Thanks for being patient.

Oof, boss isn't too into Jayden's methods is he? At least Mr. Braun had a lot of fun. Lucas may need to press the issue with his assistant so he understands exactly what his boundaries should be.

Happy 2019, and Stream Tomorrow

I hope everyone had a safe and fun holidays and new year. I've been spending a lot of time with family and even went out of state for a little NYE party that a friend helped plan, and it was a lot of fun. I'm back in town now, and barring some issues including disagreements with with patreon staff, things are returning to normal.

Stream Today

I was going to stream in the early hours of the AM, but decided it would allow more people to attend if I moved it forward to daytime. I plan to start around 2PM pacific timezone, so plan accordingly!

Another stream tonight should make a big chunk of progress. Not sure if it'll get a finish, but we'll see how it goes. There's a ton of props and background painting left to do even after the characters are done, so I'm thinking this will be completed over two more streams.

Doin' a late night stream to get this picture going, and I suspect this one will take 2-3 days to finish if I pace myself. Today's goal is to ink and set up flats, which could be a lot more involved than most pics due to all the overlap going on and layers of props.

Christmas at the Elk Tavern (sketch WIP)

This took a lot more effort than I anticipated, but I think it's really turning out to be something special! Those who requested a bit of gay mixed in may notice the happenings at the bar. It's not an incredibly gay image, but this adds a bit of variety none the less.

I'm going to be streaming tonight (Tuesday the 18th), so watch out for that. As always, thank you for the wonderful support... and enjoy!

Christmas at the Elk Tavern (render WIP)

Most of the set is done now, with only a few additional lighting props, set pieces, and tweaks to avoid tangents. Hopefully it's clear that a door on the left is opened, letting in a cold, winter chill, a silhouette in the doorway cast on the floor, and the warmth of a fire burning off to the right. The final painting will utilize a bit more atmospheric depth painted in as well, and even some snow particles to convey the incoming gust.

These are all modeled from scratch so I'm doing my best to limit the need for 3D to perspective dependent geometric shapes. Some things are easier or photobash to paint by hand, but I'll say now that tons of wood at varying directions and planes is not one of those things.
