Sketch Stream May 2018 (round 2)

Here's the results from part 2! I wasn't able to get everyone's ideas done this time around, but I did get 5 of them as I'd originally planned at the high end. This set came out really well in my opinion, so enjoy!

Sketch Stream Tomorrow!

Here's a little reminder that tomorrow is part two of this month's sketch stream set, which will again take place in the afternoon. Part 1 had only about 4-5 completed, so I'm aiming to finish another 4-5 in the second wave. We'll be going over some concepts from $20 patrons who didn't get any of their ideas done this month.

Sketch Stream Notice & Update

I'll be hosting a sketch stream tomorrow afternoon (Saturday, May 26th, which is technically today as of writing this) for the $20 and $12 tiers. The $20 tier members will be tossing ideas into a voting pool that everyone in the stream can vote on and discusses, prioritizing what I sketch. It's been a while since I've been able to host one of these, so let's have some fun with this.

Booty Slap!

Inspired by a gif I saw about slapping werewolf booty in Bloodborne, I just had to put that husky from earlier to use. This surely isn't his first crisp ass slap, either. This is another iPad doodle while I wait.

Despite the moving truck having arrived, it's unavailable to unload until Monday, meaning my Cintiq power adapter remains out of reach. I'm making due catching up on some sketches in the meantime.

Move Update

What a crazy week it's been! I'll try to cover everything that's been happening, or you can skip to the end for the TL;DR.

I devoted most of the end of last week to packing and preparing for the move, as well as seeing friends I won't see again for a long time. The 24 foot upack truck arrived on Wednesday the 9th, parked at the end of the culdesac waiting to be loaded, and on that same day, my washer and dryer set were swapped out for a new one that the landlord had pic...

Buckets of Fun

Here's a super quick paint of Oni giving Angus (from Brave) some hand service, based on a suggestion. I think I've got a lot of learning to do with drawing horses if working on this is any indication, but it was a quick and fun few hour project I squeezed in between slogging through technical layering.

Closer: Page 06 (sketch)

Here's the sketch for page 6, and might I say this is probably the most annoying page yet! I went through 4 layout revisions, all with very boring profile angles and insertion closeups, and it just sucked. I think this came out well realized, comparatively.

It was mentioned that the lower left panel might need some pose revision to make it feel more dynamic and less stiff, so that frame could change between now and the final.

Avalon Bluejay

I owed Avalon a new ref of the character I'd designed for him a while back. I really like refs that show personality vs just being a stiff T pose or the like. The butt came out really well in my opinion as well.

In my eyes, bird characters are a lot like their animal selves, not having external genitalia (only a cloaca). This makes them wonderfully G rated even in the Bottomless District, but when it comes to pleasing a partner, it can leave them with less options than other species. 2018-05-02 19:46:35 +0000 UTC View Post

April Sketch Stream Recording

Quite a productive sketch stream!

There were 10 images completed based on suggestions from my $20 tier patrons, and all of them will go into the voting pool this week for Finish-A-Sketch. Here's the recording of that stream for those who want to revisit it, or who couldn't make it. I made some final adjustments to the images that didn't get recorded, but they're minor enough I don't know if it matters.
