UPDATE: So, I like how the face is turning out, but at the same time I hate he looks more like the pawn shop guy than JD. We'll have to wait and see how it ends when colored XD

Do you know Savage Dragon is the longest running full-color comic book to feature a single artist/writer? I just found out XD
Initially, this was a full-body image, then I remembered his feet are really weird and tried a closer angle. Glad I did because I think it worked better in the end.
I used the winner face from the poll for the whole set and included two variant expressions as story versions XD I am indecisive like that.

I've already told you this before, but I used to be scared to draw directly on the tablet, or ink either traditionally or digitally. I used to do a traditional pencil sketch and color it digitally.
Now I feel confident to do everything directly on the tablet.

UPDATE: Clip Studio's perspective ruler is MAGIC. Curious detail: The vanishing point is placed exactly at Chris's hole. I like to place vanishing points strategically to subconsciously direct attention to that place.

This one started as a panel for the Tomb Raider comic I'm working on, but it kind of evolved in it's own thing. I'm thinking maybe the cover can be something like this.
I am still kind of 50/50 between a colored or manga style comic. Knowing me it will be colored, but at least the test sketches can have that black and white feel.

You may have seen my previous tests for a Thanos character I've been working on. I am quite happy with him and I'm doing genital options now.
Here's a naked, hard version render in 4000 x 5200.
New beachwear for Maxx! I am trying a c-string I made for Genesis 8 Male. Also, some HDRI maps I bought. Trying to get a photoshoot look to the lighting.
UPDATE: I am experimenting with the Octane render engine. That thing is FAST, like real-time fast. Rendering animations with this must be amazing if you know how to use it.
I am updating with my first Octane render. Still don't know how to set up the shaders correctly, so I wasn't able to add the tan lines and tattoos of previous Ir...
My original character that I've been trying to get into a short visual novel if it wasn't because I can't write anything lol. I mean, he still doesn't have a name -.-

I always had a thing for drawing Deimos defeated, but for this render, I wanted to depict him victorious. Not that he didn't have it rough along the way, but still prevailing over the nasty hordes from Hell and all that.
