This is the 2nd Slice of Life Episode for Nuganenai slime. The original title was "Pussy Burglar", but we think that can be confusing about what that means (Is the name of the character of Blossom's cosplay).

Blossom had to be adapted to the animation style, as her original design had too many lights and shadows. In this case, the forms were simplified, but thanks to the color gradients, it was possible to give the appearance of more complexity in the design.
Additionally, the correct way to draw her mouth in profile was specified for non-comedic moments, to prevent the style from changing too much between animators.

The Researcher is taller than Blossom (without including her heeled boots). This is reflected in her model sheet. Small details, such as the nails, were carefully made to ensure they don’t resemble Blossom’s. The body is only presented from one perspective to be intuitive for other angles, but the head was drawn in the necessary perspectives.

Originally, Scene 3 (where they are in the café) had been scrapped from the animation due to budget constraints.
In June 2024, Scene 3 was re-included, and with it, a new character was introduced.
The Researcher is a long-time friend of Blossom. The design had already been decided beforehand, so only 6 color options were tested. A2 was selected to begin creating the model sheet.
