Verus' expression in the last panel is about four different ones combined - giddy excitement, wrathful impatience, genuine happiness, and aloof amusement lol. He's a very expressive character who sometimes, ironically since he's so into secrecy, wears his emotions on his sleeve. It's a relief to Arka, who is autistic and has difficulty reading subtle emotions.

After giving him his sigil, Arka became the right hand of Verus, spiritbound to him. As long as the other was near and alive neither of them could fall in battle - as was the same deal struck with Jet as Verus' other spiritbound. Covered in their enemies' blood, it turns out, is a good look for Arka... if he could do that to them, what fun viciousness could he lovingly inflict upon him, Verus wondered.

I did this one first for A Reason. That reason being I wanted to see some NSFW of Verus fully rendered lol

fun fact: Verus' pecs look squarish in the third row in comparison to the other panels because he is flexing his left arm.

This page took a little longer than usual pages because I haven't gotten used to fully coloring the new characters - I haven't got their outfits / face idiosyncrasies memorized like the Ace of Beasts guys ;)

SKYSET KNIGHTS Volume 1: The Divine and The Cursed cover art

As a special Valentine's Day surprise, here's the new Skyset Knights Volume 1 cover!

The story has a lot of Arka and Verus development, so I thought this would better encapsulate the content + the subtitle describes the feeling of the story so far well :)

Bonus Content: Verus x Arka rut scene + Xerxes info

A concept for a longer scene / set of scenes for Skyset Knights or a personal piece of writing for myself. Includes some info on Xerxes as there are some new dynamics here that are unusual (this is a result of their guilds intersecting.) The general concept I imagined was: What if Arka went into rut, as monsters do, and Verus had fun teasing him before finally letting him fuck him? Jet was wearing the dog tail plug before he walked in, he knew what was going to happen ;)

There will be many more scenes of Verus x Jet petplay in Skyset Knights lol. With and without the plug, different places, etc ;) I had an idea for Xerxes and Jet spitroasting Arka at Verus' command, but that's a special scene that might be written instead.
