This was a hard one to draw - the guy in the top panel is Osric's asshole ex, Lakoneus, who you might remember from the beginning of Knight of Alanoc (and who makes an appearance in a flashback in the middle of Knight of Alanoc). He is purposefully under-designed as a character, with no distinctive outfit of his own - symbolic of the often invisible feeling of ugliness hidden in plainclothes, no identity of his own here other than what Osric felt about him. Ramzi's transition is something I've wanted to depict for years, but not in a way that would be voyeuristic or with shock value. Ramzi is a private person other than this, so he's not lying to Osric at the end for any kind of shock or drama later - he just doesn't care to explain that Osric is in fact wrong about his assessment. Behold, the last of the catch-up pages! I would love to draw the Akira bike slide but with Lily instead of a motorcycle lmao. There's an escape scene coming up in #3, I'm going to try and draw that in there 8^>
