I'm sorry I've been silent. I was on allergy medicine for a full-body reaction to something I ate, and the medicine was inducing a very severe depression episode that made everything difficult. I was drowning my sorrows in other things as my hand and drowsy vision weren't steady enough to draw.

note: This entire section is new for the redraw of ACE OF BEASTS Vol.1. In fact, most of the book from page 20 onward is either somewhat to completely new, and necessary to fix pacing and character development issues.
There is an imbalance on purpose in their backstories, as Xerxes' introduces not only a new place/concept (the Sect of Strato) and a character, and Osric's dream shows Lily's backstory too.
