Shed Build Progress, Jan 2019
Sorry it’s taken so long but finally I have an update on the shed build. It’s been a bit of a slog trying to keep up with the YouTube workload and build this at the same time, so for much of it I just haven’t had the energy to film as I go. I’m pretty much only getting footage when my wife comes and does it for me :)

Last night we have a quick but brutal storm pass though and it took out a huge amount of our garden. Just the garden was damaged so it could have been a lot worse, still a bit upset since I’ve spent a lot of time on it, but we can rebuild :)
All of the plants on the property were grown from seed so shame to see so many of them go after 9 years.

Philips 328M6FJRMB Display Profile
This is the display profile for the Philips Momentum 328M6FJRMB I reviewed. I'd recommend the following OSD settings:
Brightness: 80 (200 nits)
Contrast: 48
Color: Red 100, Green 86, Blue 93
SmartResponse: Faster
If you're aren't familiar with installing an ICM profile for your monitor in Windows, here is a quick quide.
1) Search for and open the Color Management utility

The benchmarks carried out by Principled Technologies are even more bogus than we first thought. A few viewers pointed out that the Ryzen 7 2700X was listed as tested in the “Game Mode” within the Ryzen Master software and I foolishly thought they might have just made a simple copy and paste error in their document as they would have used this mode for the 2950X. This does explain why the Threadripper CPUs were faster than the 2700X in every test.

Once again, to get the most out of our AC: Odyssey video, it's worth downloading and looking at our source quality video file, which is encoded at 4K, 60 FPS at 100 Mbps.
YouTube tends to cut fine detail with their re-encoding, so the best way to see small differences is through the source quality file, which you can download here. Warning: it's about 13 GB.
