Apparently I didn't post this one here yet. In any case, it's a color improved version and one of my personal favorites.

Quite vibrant afterglow, this was... April 7. They say desert dust was the cause but I don't believe that. The air was actually quite clear, giving the sun much power for this afterglow.

Dusty sunset

Some Sahara dust was in the air in early April, making the sun quite dim while yellow (doesn't come across when capturing).

I spend a full day driving to Germany and back last week because I finally found a working 'unicorn' device 🤩 Here are some teaser shots... I'm quite sure nobody can guess what it is, it's so rare... I am still busy doing sound guy stuff for a Dutch TV show but when that is finally finished I want to continue working on, and finishing various projects, including this one :-)

Frozen new lake

This small lake was reed, but some nature organization decided to remove all the reed in a big operation, and with that this new lake appeared. I might be the first to take a picture of it then, January 9, 2024.

I was about to make a Lazy Posy video featuring the Rapidman calculator but began making macro shots, and I think I'll make a Not-Lazy video about it because there is still quite some interesting things to explore 🙂

Smoky Sun

This was actually shot mid day. Forest fires from another continent blew all the way over Europe and coused a very dim, orange sun. 

Due to the way it was exported I don't know the date but it was a few years ago.
