Greetings patrons and visitors!
For this update, I wanted to first say thank you for continuing to follow and/or subscribe to this Patreon. I am quite grateful that so many fellow Ghostbuster builders have taken an interest in using the 3D files and ideas in their own work here. After a hot, sweltering summer, I can feel the Halloween season is almost upon us and I am personally ramping up my own maker efforts to prepare for my favorite time of the year.
First off, as an update to...

Okay - so I'm not sure what the Extreme pack parts are actually called (if anyone has a diagram with official-ish names, that'd be awesome) in this case, I'll simply call this the 'dispenser'?
These are larger parts but still will fit an Ender 3 plate size!
A few notes:
- The sides should be securely glued down - especially the side with the V-Hook.
- V-Hook screws can pass through the side and secured on the inside (note that the interior of the lower sh...

Looking for a quick project? This print is a variation of my Hasbro Blaster MOD V-Hook battery cover released last year. I thought it'd be interesting to have the ability to have a version that could attach to a standard camera tripod for display (or remote blasting!)
This print is one part and takes around 1.5 hours to print on standard settings. It can be traded in with the battery cover that comes stock wi...

Get your printers ready - I have the first round of parts for the Extreme Ghostbusters Proton Pack ready to go. This process will go a bit differently than the past as I am not personally building these parts in the immediate future. I don't have enough room for another proton pack in my life. (but maybe some day!)
As such, I'll be looking forward to seeing what YOU all make with these files.
This first round of files is for the ...

The Spirit PKE meter (also known as the Rubies PKE) has been a staple in my costuming over the years - but has escaped my modding interests. I've seen some great paint jobs and electronics mods for the Spirit PKE over the years - but I guess I never got around to tinkering with it. It looked good enough on my belt holster and that was enough for me... until now.
The Spirit PKE shell is a passable approximation of what we saw on screen, but there are some key differences that st...

Who remembers getting their first proton pack as a kid?
Maybe it was a cardboard box with some straps. Maybe it was a black backpack with some hot glued wires. Maybe you were lucky enough to get the old Kenner roleplay toy.
For my nephew's 5th birthday, I decided to take on building him his very first proton pack using 3D printing! He has been very interested in Ghostbusters - like my son was at that age. He loves Afterlife and the Playmobil toys. I wanted to create...

It has been a few weeks since the last part release for the Extreme Neutrona Blaster - and it seems this project has been quite popular! I have been very happy to see a number of builds going on Instagram!
Greetings!
I know the Patreon/Instagram has been a bit quiet lately. Towards the end of May, I had a staff shakeup in my 'real business' so I've been doubling up on my professional responsibilities. With that said, I have a few key updates to share regarding this Patreon's charitable giving campaign AND some project updates!
Back in April, I turned 39 and decided to make some health + lifestyle changes. I'm dieting I took up a daily swimming exercise routine and will soon be hitti...

To round out the parts for the Extreme Ghostbusters Neutrona Blaster, here is my current design for the canister!
I designed this part to be detachable. It can slot into the blaster port and small twist will lock it into place. Additionally, the main shell is two parts - I printed my outer shell using a gold metallic PLA. The inside shell is meant to be translucent with the idea that you could add lights to the interior.
Happy building!

Get a grip!
This handle is a very simple - a few pipes, an elbow, and a 'screw on' hose connector. There are machine screw holes but you may want to further secure the pipe and elbow with epoxy for added rigidity.

A blaster wouldn't be any good without a trigger! Here is the trigger mechanism I designed for the Extreme Neutrona Blaster.
The main body inserts into the control armature and is designed with a 90 degree "slot" to allow the control arm to rotate. This part can be secured using a single 4 mm machine screw. For the trigger, there is a "flex" piece that can be printed to give it a 'spring action'
I printed mine using relatively standard PLA print settings.

Yeah... so... it's a box.
This hooks up to the front of the Control Arm - and should make for a great spot to build in some future electronics. This can be attached to the Control Arm using 3 mm hex cap screws. 4 mm hex cap screws will attach the lid.
Keep on building! :)

Next up - the blaster control arm! The previously released barrel should plug securely into the front ring. The rear handle will have a design to allow this arm to rotate/pivot as well (coming soon!)
I printing the main part all as one piece in the upright position. The 'copper' rings are a detail embellishment and reinforce the tube connections.
I am using 3mm hex cap head screws throughout this part to connect them together.

I'm going to be shaking up my process a bit - normally I release files for my projects after I have been able to do a 'first build'. This helps me iron out the kinks in my files or change things up if I feel like it. Recently, I embarked on designing Extreme Ghostbusters-related props starting with the Neutrona Blaster.
My free time has been a bit more limited lately. To complete the whole piece and then release it would take a bit longer than I would like - especially when it comes to ...

Greetings patrons and visitors,
In April, I have decided to give to an organization I have donated to in the past: No Kid Hungry 's mission is to end childhood hunger in the United States. They help to fund school mean programs and distribute grants to schools, food banks and community groups across the nation to fund meal programs benefitting kids.
Going into summer, I recently announced on IGTV that I am rampin...

As I was working on the Extreme Ghostbusters Proton Blaster, I thought it would be fun to take a the barrel part and release an MOD barrel as a bit of a 'teaser'. Like the previous released MOD parts, this piece can be printed and slip right on to Hasbro's Proton Blaster MOD toy! After a short exclusivity window, this part will be made available for free on May 6!
I am making this material and content for the...

The firehouse's second floor needed a few more furnishings to 'bring the room together'. I created some arcade cabinets and a stand designed to display the 'fright feature' weapons. These parts will round out the Firehouse (for now) -- I have a big project planned next that more than a few have been asking me to try.....!
Now Peter can play video games while the rest of the cre...

To follow up on my Kenner Firehouse garage upgrades, I have created another garage bay that can be used for expanded play features on the first floor. You'll note that the 3D print includes 'notches' that can receive additional ...

Greetings patrons and visitors,
I wanted to address something I have been increasingly asked about when it comes to the licensing of the work and files published here on the Ghostbusters Gear Patreon.

I've been considering the creation of a Discord chat server for Ghostbusters Gear Patrons (and invited guests.) The idea would be to give subscribers the ability to interact with each other, share their builds, suggest ideas, and ask questions. You know - interactive community building stuff!
If I created this benefit for Patrons, would you use it? Would it be valuable to you to have more direct interaction with myself and other Patrons?
Maintaining a Discord community ta...

The question I most often get asked regarding the things I publish here - "What if I don't have a 3D printer?"
As many of you know, I don't take on commissions or sell physical prints. The primary reason is that my day-to-day obligations would not allow me to keep up! The effort and time required in doing 'part runs' or taking on commissions is often underestimated and I respect anyone that is able to do it right! This is why I've opted to publish files for fellow makers ...

There are many flavors of R.T.V.s (Remote Trap Vehicle) popping up these days. The Ghostbusters Afterlife prop is arguably one of the most creative concepts in the new movie and was the focus of two extremely fun ghost chasing sequences.
Admittedly, I'm a bit of a novice to the RC hobby world. The 'screen accurate' prop used an RC rig that is quite expensive. As an alternative, I came on the 2022-03-14 03:49:04 +0000 UTC

Taking a time out from the world of Ghostbusters and 3D printing for a second - I'm sure many of you have been following the shocking aggressive acts by the Russian state on the nation of Ukraine. There are a few little details on the RGB pack that I realized I hadn't published yet! This post incudes:
- An upgrade to an injector 'hose fitting' which is more accurate to what we saw in the cartoon.
- A loom/hose adaptor to help connect a 0.5" loom hose to the wand handle and pack. (I had made this as an improvised part because my hose didn't quite fit... maybe this can help others!)
I am making this material and content for the 3D Printed parts...

A firehouse playset that can hold the full length of the Ectomobile? It wasn't a reality in the 80s but thanks to 3D printing we can finally give the Ecto-1 a proper platform. This 3D file is designed to slide right on top of the base platform of the Firehouse playset.
You'll also notice there are some plugs on the side edges to allow for future playset expansions to give the Ghostbusters HQ some additional play value. (I am currently printing a "proton charging" station to hang s...

The Kenner Ghostbusters Firehouse is an iconic vintage playset - but it's not without opportunities to be improved.
A key design flaw, in my view, is the lack of a proper 2nd floor. In the original design, we are given a partial L-shaped 2nd floor - it's more of a mezzanine and there aren't many options for play or display.
Here I have published my 'upgrade' for adding in a more complete 2nd floor that can be installed in your Kenner firehouse. I used standard print resolution (0....
