please forgive me if the page is a day or two late this month!
I'm not sure why but I've run into some weird physical health problems lately. random headaches and bouts of nausea, constant sluggishness, etc... I feel like I'm in a constant state of being hungover LOL, not pleasant
I won't burden you guys with more details, but I'm sure i don't have much to be worried about anyway... luckily i live in canada so my health care is relatively inexpensive even without much insuran...

Whenever I want to make a more "simplified" style like this I always focus on combining large, clear shapes (like her hair and head) with more detailed aspects (such as the wrinkles on her shirt). As for shading, I keep it even simpler and just use it as a way to define any shapes that got a little too lost on the way :)

After drawing both the last one and this one of her, I can say for certain I prefer drawing her with less revealing clothes š ! They suit her more. I am somebody who actually prefers wearing non-revealing clothes irl so it just feels right for her too! Nevertheless, cute bathing suit is cute!!

i decided to try out this hyper detailed way of drawing fur since i've been feeling kinda stale with my art lately and ... i really like it! but boy does it REALLY tack on a lot of extra time to my lining process! i'll be saving it for pieces that i don't have any time constraints on for sure

A little more info on her... somehow it didn't feel right naming her Cherri (if she were more pink/red/white tones I would have), but I decided to keep the food-related names and call her Caramel. She really reminded me of coffee with caramel swirls!! You can also call her "Mel" :)
