Sorry for posting this so late! I'll be honest, I entirely forgot that I'd said I would make a post today, didn't have the presence of mind to write it down. (hopefully people still see such a late post!)

I'll jump right into things with my "main" scene concept: a Paeran (undecided on who just yet, though I have a few in mind) is enjoying some candy, chocolates and other such small things. In amidst these treats is a treat of a different sort, a shrunken prey; perhaps shown already falling...

Yasa and Josie (personal project)

A project I've been working on this month in my personal time, though it'll probably take a backseat while I rush to get some Halloween stuff done first. Still, figured it'd be nice to show off a preview here!

Some notes: I'm still trying to figure out how to pose Yasa for composition purposes, I'd like it if she filled up more of the frame but the angle's difficult. Maybe her hair could drape down a bit more on the sides, to curtain things off; puffing her chest out a bit more might work ...

Hello, all! Apologies for the lack of activity or news lately, things have been hectic this month. I have plenty of news to share now, though! I'll try to break it down into sections, so it's easier to skim through.

Wow, finally I think it's done! The perspective isn't quite what I'd envisioned at the start, but I'm quite happy with some of the details here. All of the saliva is painted-in by hand, and I feel like I've stepped up my game on that a bit.

Oh, how vague and mysterious! I'll post a proper screenshot a little later, but I thought this looked cool; in the process of taking the first render of the scene and applying some faux-bloom to the silhouettes. Trying to give a bit of a "in their shadow" vibe, as well as a simple way of dealing with any potentially complicated background elements.

Still to-do: postwork on this render (plenty of drool for those tongues, color correction, etc), and a few extra renders after that's done. One...

Alright, a little over a week left for this month, so I think a relatively simple project is a good way to fill that space!

Hey there, everyone!

First things first, we're halfway through August now and technically due for another Patreon-funded piece. I say 'technically' because, while we're only $35 towards the $50 milestone for monthly pieces, I've been counting every other month towards that milestone. Not sure yet what the piece will be, I might keep it simple and possibly go back to grab another one of the suggestions from the last project vote.

One more! Trying real hard to make the saliva and other details look good here, it's a bit of a challenge to paint it in and make it look like it "belongs" in an otherwise all 3D-rendered scene. I'm still learning on some of this stuff, liquid is tough!

I don't think I've shown much (or any) of the actual postworking process on one of these before, so here we are; about 7-8 renders in, and stitching everything together in Photoshop. So far, so good!

The plan had been to work on some additional renders of Yuumi under different lighting conditions, but after applying some of the normal renders, I was actually able to get the look I was aiming for without having to go through all that. There's still the background that needs to be added,...

Last few views of the process, now that I'm starting to work on the renders!

This is the part where it gets a little tricky, setting up lights and preparing for rendering. The preview window in DAZ Studio isn't entirely accurate; for an easy example, that bright red on the right is preview-only, the actual render comes out almost completely dark. Preview lights don't account for shadows cast by other objects, so that's something else to factor in; it's not going to be as well-lit in th...

Momiji WIP3

More progress! Did tweaks to both the prey's arms and Momiji's tongue, and added Yuumi into the scene (I wasn't sure about it but I like how she looks there now). I was kinda worried there wouldn't be much room to see outside of Momiji's mouth, but it seems to fit! There's going to be a second prey held between Yuumi's fingers, there.

More progress! After a bit of tweaking, I think I've got Momiji's tongue shaped/posed pretty well; it's tricky to make it look properly bulky without totally blocking the view, too. (not that there's anything to view just yet.) One arm in place so far, the other isn't posed yet; both will probably need to be moved a bit so they fit the perspective. That's a little tricky too, the prey in this one is actually a bunch smaller than normal because Momiji is rather big.

Just another quick progress shot! This is the view from the main camera, now that everything has been tweaked to fit. Her mouth might need to open a little wider still, just so there's more than a sliver of the outside scene visible. (Momiji's tongue takes up a great deal of space!)

With one project finished, I'm getting started straight away on the next!

Simple scene setup for now; Momiji's pose doesn't actually matter here, but it's easy enough to give her a roughed-out pose to help lay out the rest of the scene. You can see the main camera already in the scene too, right there in the back of her throat!

All finished, I think! And finally! This one took pretty much the whole month when I'd hoped to have it done within the first couple of weeks, but it went quick towards the end.

A fun, relatively simple scene... Neema especially likes to tease her prey after she catches them, holding them down and licking them and generally just toying with them. Usually, she refrains from putting them into her mouth while she's teasing; when they finally end...

And here's another WIP peek before this one's finished! A further-out view of the scene this time; the final camera angle is way closer, but here you can see some of the other background elements for the scene. About half of the items won't actually be in-frame, actually, like the floor and the window, but I put them in to help myself visualize what Neema's bedroom might look like and where things should go.

The proper image is rendering as I type this, actually, so I'm hoping it comes...

Neema - WIP2

In the meantime, this project is progressing again too! It got a bit hung-up on some posing difficulties, but things are on track now and looking quite nice (if I do say so myself). Lucky little guy there, depending on your perspective of the scene!

I'm hoping to wrap this one up sometime before the end of the week (hoping), and from there get straight into the second voted project before the month is through. There might be some delays still, but the pace is picking up a bit, so fingers c...

Voting results!

After letting the poll run for a few days now, we have a winner! "dropped in" (POV vore) will be the next project, coming up hopefully soon. There's still Neema's scene to finish up first, but progress on that is going well now!

I'm quite pleased with this first "official" poll, it's gone well. The results are pretty definitive (the POV vore scene held a 50% lead quite solidly from start to finish), and there was a very respectable number of votes, something I'd been worried about.

Few quick little things I want to share with you all!

First off, not everyone's suggestion made it onto the poll (reminder to go vote on it if you haven't already!). Couple of reasons for that, but that doesn't mean I won't do 'em still; some of them did very much tickle my fancy and you might see one or two come into being during my free time.

Almost done! Aah!

Really pushing things right to the wire, I wanted so badly to have this done two weeks ago and life keeps throwing lemons at me. I'm getting it done now, though; trying a slightly different technique for the saliva in particular (I want to convey a bit of movement, and starting with the highlights first), and so far it seems to be working. Lots more drool and wetness to come, little tweaks and fixes, and we'll be done!

Life hits hard when things are already tough. >.< I'm dealing with some family issues this past week, but I've managed to get a bit more done! Showing things off in a mesh view for a change, since I thought maybe some of you might find it interesting.
