On a hot day, nothing beats sharing a lovely double scooping of sweet cold icecream with a lil' friend! You'd think with such a giant tongue, Kuchi wouldn't be so prone to letting dribbles get away, but she's also not very careful about how she eats either. Besides, it's just helping with the cooling-off, as her smol friend can surely attest. :D

Update 4/4/22: turns out my color profiles in Photoshop were off, so Elie's colors were also off! I've fixed the issue and tweaked the images to where they should be again.

It should come as no huge surprise that, at least in Paeratopa, being the size of a lollipop is liable to get you treated like one. A relatively harmless experience to put up with, though when there's actual lollipops around too, that experience can turn a bit... colorful...

Elie's lollipop WIP

The WIPs for this month's project! This is an idea I've had since... a few years ago actually, but just never got around to exploring. Elie has an especially long tongue, so what would it look like if she was licking an especially colorful lollipop? And well, this is my interpretation of exactly that. :D

New project, and new character! I can't remember if I've had a WIP post before where the character wasn't fully finished yet either, but this is Laxi, a lovely over-nine-feet-tall lady who's decided to settle in Paeratopa and "do as the Romans do", basically (even if she's probably not familiar with the phrase, being from a fantasy world herself)

As Valentine's day comes to a close, so to does Emma and Mimi's double date! A fun evening on the town, ending with a lovely sampling of sweets... and of their now-tiny dates, a taste of what's to come when it's time for those goodnight 'kisses' to send them each home.~

I hope you didn't think I'd miss doing a Valentine's picture for this year, too! Though there's still a chance I won't get it finished in time, oops.

Still needs a fair bit of work; a background, lighting tweaks, a few detail fixes, and all of that just to get it ready to render. It's dragging late into the month (the usual), but nearly finished! With the renders just finished earlier today, I've started on the fun part (well, one of the fun parts): making it all nice and drooly!

And for those with eagle eyes, that is indeed Ruri as the prey this time! She's on pretty good terms with Kuchi, so it stands to reason she's occasionally a convenient option for her very slobbery friend. And for Kuchi's also very slobbery friend, in this case. Not quite where Ruri want...

Off into the first proper project of the new year! And it's a mix of something new and something old, a callback to an ooold piece I've done with Wanda and Sari, "sloppy squish" (last image above). I did always like that one, and I've been wanting to do another picture with Kuchi, so...

Still some work to be done on this, poses could use tweaking and I'll probably once again add a lucky lil' someone getting the sloppy squish between them. But otherwise, I think I'll try to keep it a bit...

2021 year-end doodle dump!

A whole bunch of unposted "doodles" from this year! One of the big benefits unlocked by my switch to a new computer and new render engine is this, the ability to do preview-mode renders that take about a minute and are already nearly on-par with the full renders. Not only is it great for mock-ups and previews, but also for just small scenes like these, where I maybe don't have the time or motivation to go through with fully finishing them, but I still want to make something from it!
