Monthly Monsters Update

Hey everybody!

I thought I would take a minute to give you all an update as to the state of our current projects. With Wizard-Spawned Insanities finished, I had originally intended to start working on a Labyrinth Lord dungeon module book, using many of the monsters we have developed so far.

But Nathan wanted to finish another Dungeon World monster manual in short order, since we still have plenty of monsters on the loose without a proper home. You may have noticed we’ve been runnin...

November 2015: Monthly Monster!

Here is the main event for this month: iridescent colours from beyond time and space that infect you and turn you into a monster that wears other peoples' skins! Both the Dungeon World and Labyrinth Lord versions are attached.

Moon Base Security Redux

Nathan sent me a better version of the art for this monster after I posted it originally, and since it isn't going to be in the next book we release, I thought I'd just re-release it so y'all have the better art now.

We go underground this month, with the Suckering Worm. It's a tricky monster that runs casinos for monsters. Both DW and LL versions are attached.

I decided to try something different. The Monthly Monster this time is completely systemless. No stat blocks for Dungeon World or Labyrinth Lord, because it doesn't have a physical body, it just brings weirdness with it.

Dungeon Planet One-Shot Adventure Book

Not totally related to monsters: Battle Between the Worlds is a one-shot adventure for Dungeon Planet I've been working on. I was thinking of releasing it for free, but I have to buy some art for it so I'm waffling a bit. I dunno! Anyway, here is a draft of it for all y'alls to look at. If you try running/playing it, let me know how it goes!

In the time between making monsters every month, Nathan and myself are also hard at work on turning these monsters into new books. One of the flaws of the first book, we thought, was the amount of white space, so we've been adding more stuff to each of the monsters than we did last time. Here's an example I thought was nice, so I wanted to show y'alls: the re-done version of Harlan Blackhand, complete with new background images and a new title page. I don't know when we'll be done the next book...
