Folks, it may be a crazy undertaking but I plan to take part in the international Weekly Shonen Manga Contest.
It's really crazy, to be honest. Because I still have an internship and this manga project to manage, of course. But I assure you I won't underestimate the whole workload. I have the feeling that I can handle it and spent the last two days with the scribbles for 40 pages.
I think in such a case you have to realize the very first idea which came into your mind as soon as possible...

One of many manga pages of an early prologue version I kept until today.
This scene depicts a dispute between Chaudine, who you already know, and Taya, the dragon girl. You can also see Winrow on the second panel. In this version the events took place on a train instead on a ship as in my final version. It may sound odd but the confined setting was of importance for me. I also wanted a place where Taya and Winrow can spend their time in intimate togetherness.

Most corrections have been made during this step. As you can see in panel 6 (bottom left), I changed Chaudine's and Leroy's position because I wanted to keep the same positions of the characters like in panel 3 (middle right) for better orientation.

The point of time for the greyscaling can vary from page to page. I often use it a bit earlier without finishing the outline step when I notice that I have problems with the assembly within the panels e.g. the characters. It can also help to get a better understanding for the depth. This one is an easy case, so I need not such a measure.
This sole version can also be viewed by non-petreon visitors this time. :)
