Here are two new 1 page comics I am working on. :>
The first one is Lucy having bathing/aerobics suit troubles and the second one will be a series of shots of Lucy getting a creamy filling. 👀
The layout of the first one is not final yet. I wanted to give it a bit of a collage/montage look where Lucy is trying to do several different aerobic exercises but her wardrobe gets in the way each time.

Here is a little preview for the piece I am currently working on. :>
Usually I do some basic shading on the main character before I do the background but here I did it the other way around because the background has more details and characters than usual and I wanted to get it out of the way as soon as possible.
I also threw in a version without the cropping border, just to show you how weird it looks. :D

I finally found the time to clean up the lines and slap some color on this little comic page that I teased recently. :>
I kept the shading very minimalistic. I will probably try out different techniques and approaches for future comics. :D
I've been dong a lot of sketches of the yet to be named chubby bunny girl. I was thinking of "Robyn", I always like gender-neutral names. :>

If you have eagle eyes you might have noticed that the bookshelf in today's piece is from an older piece. :D
I was running a bit late and didn't want to re-draw a whole shelf so I just moved it over into the new scene, minus the labels on the books and the lineart layer.
I don't often recycle objects like that but today I made an exception. :>

Ok. This is a bit awkward. I prepared a big "Thank you for 20K Twitter followers. Thank you so much for your sweet comments and support"-piece BUT my Twitter is still sitting 19.972 followers (I expected it to go over the 20K mark tonight.) :S :S :S

I am currently setting up a Subscribestar and stumbled upon something in their advice for content creators section.
There it was mentioned that uploading too much might lead to fatigue among the subscribers and that updating 2 times a week is sufficient.
And since I upload on a daily basis (minus weekends) I was curious if you think these very frequent uploads are a bit too much.
Should I reduce the uploads on Patron to only a few times a week?

I finally managed to finish this Judy&Nick piece over the weekend.
I'd been sitting on the sketch of it since I did the Judy week. :D
I'm just quickly sharing what my arting-setup looks like because I've been asked about that before. :>
I mainly use one monitor for my art-software and my photo reference. I tried out several two monitor setups before but always found this more convenient because I can look at my reference at a glance and don't have to twist my head around to see it on the other monitor.
I use Krita for all of my work. One huge benefit is that it is OpenSource, so you don't have to pay a dime...

I did the sketch for this one a while ago, in February, but never gotten around to turning it into a finished piece. I did now! :>
I wasn't sure which version looked better, the one with or the one without the closeup, so I included both. :D
Here is something I did that might be interesting. :>
Sometimes when I need to apply some filter effect over my pieces but only want it to be active in certain areas I use something called "Filter Mask" in Krita. What it is is basically a dynamic Filter layer (I can change it's properties whenever I like) with a Transparency mask attached to it, the black and white thing. White on the mask signifies where the filter will be applied and black where it will not be applied.
