I VERY often forget to add Lucy's tail, but I found a fool proof method to counter that - it's leaving passive aggressive notes to myself! 😬

For the last challenge (the one by FoxPOP, big pantz & bikini) I made her VERY slender, this time I decided to go back to her shortstack roots. :D

I used a reference photo of a lady dangling in a similar pose & another different photo for the feet because the lady was wearing shoes and I wanted Lucy to be barefoot. 😅

As always I did the linework first and then did the basic shading with the "I am the light source, oh and also occlusion shadows!"-approach. 😬

Gadget Cooling off Behind the Scenes

Here are some random little tidbits about the recent Gadget piece. :>

I usually go: Character, then background, then shadow shapes.
In this case I did the basic shading of the character first. Basic for me means that I pretend to be the light source and each form that faces away from me gets a bit darker. I'll also add occlusion shadows (the dark areas where forms are in very close proximity. Like armpits, crotch or the area under the chin).

Mysterious pictures on Lucy's wall

I just wanted to quickly share what these background pictures in the Goth Lucy piece actually are. :D

Before I started doing smutty art, I did a lot of these silly little drawings of polite boys, so I reused some old ones to put on the walls. :>

I did a little alt version with tape on her nipplies (thank you for the idea, Busterson!) and a more clean looking fishnet. (thank you for pointing out the raggedy looking earlier version, Bubz!) :D

This was one of the pieces where I didn't have proper photo reference so I thought it might be interesting to show some behind the scenes. :D

I did a similar piece before, with Lucy posing in front of the washing machine in the laundry room, butt and behind showing.

I really liked the setting so I wanted to make a follow up piece but with her enjoying the vibrations of the machine, so I modeled a washing machine in Blender, imported it into DAZ 3D and did a rudimentary 3D mockup...

No condom - all goop!

Lucy is on the pill, which leads to her being 3% goop! 👀

She doesn't seem to mind though.

WIPs and more about how the sausage is made?

I was wondering how you fine folks feel about posts that show my work process, technical stuff, layer management, how my software is set up, when and how I use 3D mockups etc.

Most pieces I do have just one or two reference photos I work off of, but sometimes if I can't find good reference I create little 3D assets and pose 3D character models.

So, do you want to see stuff like that?
