Ash arrives at Saffron city gym to take on the gym leader there but Gary also crosses paths with him to challenge the leader too. The leader, Sabrina agrees to take them both in but if they loose they must play with her for all eternity. They start the battle and as they fight, strange things start to happen to their bodies to get them ready for their inevitable loss.

After several hours, Gari and Ashley were let go but since they lost they have to go back in eventually to get the Marsh badge. However it looks like Gari swiped a badge when no-one was looking!
