Hi everyone (long post)

It has been a while and shit went from worse to catastrophic in just a few weeks after I cancelled SotF. Depression had really gotten the better of me up to me cancelling the project and I had dug myself down into a hole again in the company of oxy and codein … and a lot of it.

My doc suddenly realized that I was popping them like candy, and we had words. I was forced to cut down on the meds, of course, and I went to see a shrink … again.

Hey

It has been a bit again. I am once again down with something, since last Saturday - this time pneumonia. I just can't seem to catch a break at the moment.

I managed to dive into animations and figuring out how to implement them in a "non-disruptive" (I think) way, before coming down with this shit.

Anyhow. I have added a small test version of what I believe will work in the project. Just a little tease to show off how I will be implementing the animations.

Hey.

Just got home and I'm alive. Thanks for the well wishes.

I am contending with the same symptoms as last time around: Exhaustion - and have added some hefty joint pains and a quite insistent headache.

I hope this wont last as long as the last time. I should hope for some lesser symptoms! Loss of appetite would be great for losing some weight!

Anyways ... I will keep you posted when I get back to working on SotF. Right now I'm just going back to sleep.

Small update about my struggle with Corona, from my phone so I will be brief.

Not good. Being hospitalized today as I have serious issues with breathing. I am exhausted!

Not into the ICU, though. Small victories ... I guess.

News 02/03-2022

Heya

It couldn't just keep going nice and good - could it? No.

Went a bit too hard on the work on 0.8 and have been down for the count for the past week. Slowly but surely recovering. Even had my youngest move in with me again just to make sure that I was taken good care off.

Unfortunately she dragged Corona to my home in the process and I tested positive yesterday. Both of us weren't really feeling too well so it wasn't a total surprise, I guess. It feels pretty bad compare...

Hey, a last news posting for the year.

In many ways I can look back on a somewhat shitty year, although  a lot of things have changed for the better during the year, it really ended on a low note, with the passing of both my last grandparent and my aunt. But as they say: Nothing is so bad, that it isn't good for something.

I am sorry to tell you that I have to suspend the development of this project for the time being.

I  have today lost one of the most loving, caring and important people to me: my aunt on my mother's side. At just about twenty years my senior it is far too soon and we, as a family, are devastated at this loss.

SotF is still moving forward at a decent pace. The changing of the MC's "third leg" will take some more doing so I have halted that for the time being. This means that you will experience graphic mismatch between the different updates as you play through the game. It might take me until 1.0 to get all images changed, but so be it.
