If you haven't listened to our newest episode of RPPR, then you may not know we have a bunch of changes coming to the RPPR Patreon. We have new rewards and improved other rewards for patrons.

Preview art of our upcoming Reign campaign, Nagalisitu, run by Caleb!

Caleb has been running a playtest campaign based on the book he is writing for Reign. We commissioned artwork from Patsy McDowell as episode art for it because we both loved the campaign so much! The first episodes go up January! This is concept art Patsy sent us to establish the look of the PCs and some of the major antagonists.

Early Access: Forbidden Lands - Rose Shield

Forbidden Lands is a new fantasy RPG about exploration and survival. It uses a similar system to Tales from the Loop but with new options for player characters. I ran a one shot of it to see if our group will want a campaign. 

Early Access: Delta Green - The Hunters

Tom ran a Vietnam era DG game about a new mythos threat he created. We're going to be just one shots for the reason of the year.

With the recent release of the Detective Pikachu movie trailer, I have realized that video game movies have come a long way since the days of yore. Back in the 90s, quite a few video game movies were made, but they were....not good. In this episode, we discuss everything from what Pokemon would do to various RPG settings to Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat.

Don't Cross the Stream: Diner Scenes

We're trying something a bit different for this episode. Instead of focusing on one movie or show, we are talking about a type of scene in many movies and shows: the diner scene. I got the idea from watching Midnight Diner: Tokyo Stories on Netflix. Bridget, Fae, Thad, Kat, and I discuss how we can take this scene and create an interesting storytelling game about it.

Early Access: Threadbare - Off to See the Clockmaker

I tried out a new RPG called Threadbare. It's a fantasy game about sentient toys left alone in a world without humans. A trio of broken toys sets off to find the Clockmaker, who can repair them with new and better parts. 

After Hours: The Were-Predator

Aaron, Tom, and I recently saw The Predator, the latest flick in the venerable sci-fi franchise. It was a hot mess, to put it lightly. So, how else can we improve it? Add another hot mess, of course! Each of us took some elements from Synnibarr, the classic fantasy heartbreaker RPG. 

I also review Edge-On, an adventure anthology for the Cyberspace RPG. It's weird.
