It's been a few lazy days, I don't know what happened 😥
Like today, for example, I spent over an hour staring at my screen without getting anything done. Not even a stroke on the canvas.
I was still able to finish the Jack-O piece just one day later than expected. I have also started a few new sketches, but only one is in a decent enough shape to show you guys :((
Guys, this honestly might be turning into a serious problem: I enjoy drawing hentai way too much now 😰 I drew this at a coffee shop, who does that??
On another note, the Jack-O piece is going well. I feel like I’m on an unexpected roll with it even though the pose was quite challenging for me to figure out! Should be done tomorrow if I don’t slack ^^

Took longer than expected but I'm very happy with how this turned out! I think I did a much better job with the scales here than the last dragon girl ^^
Another month is almost over. August has been a time of real self-reflection which has led to me deciding that I need to spend way more time drawing for myself instead of just working. That's exactly what I'll keep doing moving forward!

I've been listening to a lot of Trent Kaniuga (a famous artist), and one thing he said that has really stuck with me is to always come back to the things that made you love drawing.
Deciding to spend way more time on personal work these days has really helped me find my inspiration again, which in turn has boosted my productivity significantly ^^

Another character that I've wanted to draw for a long time, and her new amazing outfit gave me the push to finally do it!
Unfortunately, I have to stop short. I tried a new painting process here which I expect would reduce my working time, but it actually had the opposite effect. Basically, my layers are a big mess now 💀

Another personal piece! ^^
I think the reason why I've been spending so much time drawing just for myself is because I can sense a mental burnout coming up real close. I need to find that creative spark again.
So for this piece, I experimented with a lot of techniques I've never tried before. Just generally played around with it to see what might interest me.
I'd love to flesh it out a bit more, but I had to stop at this stage. Hope you guys still like it! ❤️

I really took my sweet ass time with this piece, the first sketch was almost a month ago by now 😬
I have to regain my focus soon, I can't remember the last time my creative slump being this bad.
Been a while since my last buff girl piece, I've missed drawing muscles ^^
The Kobeni one was a warm-up study practice.
On a side note, I am so freaking excited about the upcoming Superman movie! The casting announcements have been just insane. This will either be one hell of a mess or one of my fav superhero films ever.

Hey, I'm finally back!
I really took my time with this latest break, been over a week since my last post here.
Currently working on this chocolate dragon girl. My period is killing me though, I've barely been able to draw anything due to the pain.
I guess the bright side is that at least it happened after my trip 😅

First piece of the month! ^^ I was able to start and finish this commission pretty quickly, only took me about 3 hours in total I think.
The character here was obviously inspired by the Falling Devil from Chainsawman, which is already a fantastic design. And I absolutely love her turtleneck sweater!

Finally finished this comm. She's a Landsknecht Vampire, such a cool character concept! 🩸
The outfit, the color palette, and even her hairstyle are pretty far out of my comfort zone, so I was genuinely surprised by how happy I am with the result.
Might just be the coolest-looking piece I've done in half a year at least ^^

Trying to break out of my creative plateau by doing more dynamic angles and poses ✍️ I definitely don't have the brain to come up with all the crazy angles like a lot of other artists so I'm currently just focused on the more subtle choices.

Really happy with how this turned out ^^
I first found the color palette of this character (an OC of my client) to be a bit tricky to balance. This amount of blue combined with her tanned skin was way different from my usual stuff.
But I think this actually ended up being one of my better pieces in a while 🦄

I just bought a timer. I've never timed myself working before so I didn't know how many hours per day I really truly put into drawing/working.
Let me tell you, I was completely blown away when I realized how much I could draw in half an hour if I didn't get disrupted. And I was also surprised at how quickly my body got tired.
