[NEW EPISODE] Jackie Chan's Kung Fu is "Fake" and That's Okay | Video Essay

Here's an episode about topics that everyone wants to talk about.

One thing to note is that I didn't bring up the influence of politics. Yes, we are all thinking of the same event.

That's because the policies for and against Chinese martial art was convoluted one. I couldn't find a lot of detail records about martial art policies during the Qing dynasty (when Beijing Opera were born). Without context, it's hard to conclude how much damage different policies did.
