After a few days of backlash and creator/patron feedback on every existing platform possible, Patreon has finally written a formal response, and they're walking back the fee restructuring that no one wanted in the first place. Aaaaaay! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧
I can't look into the future to say what their next plan will be, but I do know they're listening, they heard what we had to say, and they're doing something about it! They're still taking feedback and suggestions

Starting on the character assets as I work on the VN script! I don't really want to make this an enormous project with a hundred different routes...but there's a lot of characters that would be fun to include! We'll see who makes the cut and who gets shelved for a second pass (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧

Still working on planning the story for the VN Project, but I do know the first one I'd like to tackle is from a newly captured demon's point of view! I've got some story ideas for playing as an exorcist too, of course, but let's see if I can even manage one game before I start planning an entire series haha.
The VN builder I'm using doesn't have an existing drag-n-drop function for putting the Narrator character next to the message box, so I'm working through a tutorial at the moment...

So occasionally in comics there come times where you need to drop a lot of exposition, and for me it's always a challenge to keep it from being a trudge-fest for readers, haha.
One of the most important things I learned from art college was to "Show, don't tell", so I try my best to keep lengthy conversations to a minimum so we can get back to the action. Since these couple pages are fairly dialogue heavy, I tried to plan for more simple visuals - your eye needs to rest...

As I prep the old penciled pages for print, I'm trying to keep to the same general layout and backgrounds and whatnot of the original - but some of the faces and anatomy of those characters were a little too yikes to keep exactly the same, so I'm fixing them up juuuust a tad. There's also the obvious change of how a demon gets zapped - the early script's "Handbook for How All This Stuff Works" was pretty unpolished at that point haha.
