July Commissions: Line Art and Color

Howdy! Here are some commissions I did this month on stream, I only had one line art comm so I put it with the color ones 8D so he wouldn't be lonely!

Riders Surge

I wanted to draw Surge’s Riders design from the comics while also trying out a different, possibly quicker way to color, but it’s not quicker lol. Anyways, hope you like it!

Sketchbook requests

Might as well share these here too. Lately I’ve been asking Twitter to suggest characters to draw on pages in my sketchbook. I like drawing on paper and it helps to motivate my art inspiration when I switch it up here and there. I want to do this more, a) to keep up drawing on paper because I enjoy it and b) to interact with the community more. It helps those bad feelings that I don’t belong or nobody wants me around or other symptoms of rejection sensitive dysphoria 🥲

These are the raw pages I colored for Doctor Marc’s fan comic Negative Prospects.

I never took fancomic work for a lot of reasons but I gotta pay bills lol. It’s been fun and I hope you guys like these. I never considered myself a colorist but I really want to expand my horizons so I might try to look for more work in this avenue.

My final for 2D animation was to do a lip sync. They gave us the audio lol I did most of this in one sitting to get it done 💀 Figured I’d share it here

Here it is with just the line art 8D you can see the swirly eyes better. I’m not sure what inspired that but I think it’s cute idk. I’m tempted to doodle a Beetlejuice but based on the Monster High doll which is a girl version lol. There’s also the Bishoujo figure by Kotobukiya… hm 🤔

Crystal ref WIP

This is pretty much done, I just have to add the text notes and the color blocks. I may go back and look over the other girls’ refs because I started this set two years ago and there’s already stuff I wanna tweak lol. After that, I’ll consider these done. I doubt I’ll ever do another set unless I decide to change something drastically on anyone, which is doubtful. Abstract Animation Project: Fall 2023

School is really kicking my butt.

Anyway I have one month left, and I may even be finishing my math class early so there's one down. When I first saw the Lego Rouge mini figure, I thought that her outfit looked more like a halter top in the lego style so I tried to draw a version of her to match.

Commish Drop 1: Jan 2024

I’ll figure out how to label these I swear. Anyways some comms I got done for this year so far (sans a couple of private ones). I really want to get more done but I think at my age I’m just slowing down in general 💀. I find I can only do like 2-4 drawings a day before I get sick of my desk chair. My knees hurt y’all.
